Is being gay a sin according to your religion?

Kangaroo Feathers

Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...
Strictly biologically speaking the reason for sex is procreation of the species and that only happens with a man and a woman using the correct orifice.
You're begging the question. First, you need to show that sex is ONLY for reproduction, and then you would need to show that doing something that isn't strictly inline with biological function is "immoral".

I'll wait.

Granted the source for those laws is better than man's messed up
How is it better?
when the person doesn't like the law simply blame the source.
When a source considers a man who offered his own daughters to be gang raped a "righteous man," you can't really set the expectations too high for what sort of laws it will contain. It's basically a bunch of things we don't actually need religion to know, like not stealing or killing, and then a ton of crap laws that have no place in society, like stoning adulteress women and passing them onto their husband's brother if the husband dies, like a piece of property that is owned. And that same law does allow for slavery. It also says a woman is unclean while she is on her period, and when she delivers a baby, for a longer duration if the baby is a girl. Putting homosexuals to death? How is that law better? Christians often say everyone is the child of god, and in god's law that he lives by, he kills en masse, but in human laws it's illegal often to strike a child, with great restrictions in many places where it's still practiced. Spare the rod? Please do. I don't need it.
