I've realized I've asked a few questions on this forum to people who are non-autistic....Sometimes I'm curious about wanting to know what it's like being non-autistic.I thought perhaps some people on here might have questions for what it's like to be autistic. I've had people in the past ask me about it. So ask away your questions...just keep in mind I can't speak for all autistics and it'll be just my experience your getting. If you met one autistic, you've met one autistic.

How does it feel to be autistic, yet the only normal one here?

You haven't seen extraordinary until you see @lewisnotmiller finally have it with my quality of posts so low, I wouldn't dare post it on my own forum, and:

But he does have very nice hair. The ladies go for that.

Wait...John Stamos? You're letting JOHN STAMOS play me?

I demand you rewrite the script with someone more appropriate. He'll never get the accent right.

His hair can stay, but the rest? Out!!

That was kinda my question, actually. How much commonality is there...or do you suspect there is...amongst autistics and their experiences with autism?

Do you talk to many autistic people?

I'm aware that autism can be due to variety of things including brain structural differences. Can autism sometimes (not always) be due to childhood anger/trauma/anxiety/fear?

Is it ever akin to a personality conflict?

    Is there pain involved?

@Brickjectivity I want you to know I love being autistic am proud of it regardless of the fact that at times it can be painful. Wouldn't trade it for the world.

How are you in crowded spaces?
If you and another person enter a doorway at the same time, do you step back, step ahead aggressively, or wait for social cues from the other person.
Do you open doors for people?
Do you do any things repetitively?
Do you have a model train?

Thanks for doing this. Any insights to human behaviour are helpful. I will probably have more.

Thanks ... which particular stimming do you do? Or is there a variety? (I just learned a new word, thanks for that.)

Do you like to play with water?
Do people recognise your unique flavor, or can you go incognito?

I understand aspergers is at one end of the autistic spectrum?

When diagnosed, is it to the extent of being vaguely "positioned" on that spectrum?

I used to know a father whose son has aspergers. The father once said to me (not sure how much he was joking) that all men have aspergers. What do you make of that?

A friend has recently been diagnosed with aspergers. He's in his mid 50s. Any comments?

Hmm...I'm not even sure how possible it is to answer this, but I meant more in terms of personal experience. How autism impacts on how you see the world.
It's most likely a ridiculous question, and I'm fine with you telling me so. But it's more about your personal thoughts and feelings.

I've worked with kids on the spectrum (although not extremely so) and am somewhat familiar with the more general, rule of thumb information.
