Batter my heart, three-person'd God ; for you
As yet but knock ; breathe, shine, and seek to mend ;
That I may rise, and stand, o'erthrow me, and bend
Your force, to break, blow, burn, and make me new.
I, like an usurp'd town, to another due,
Labour to admit you, but O, to no end.
Reason, your viceroy in me, me should defend,
But is captived, and proves weak or untrue.
Yet dearly I love you, and would be loved fain,
But am betroth'd unto your enemy ;
Divorce me, untie, or break that knot again,
Take me to you, imprison me, for I,
Except you enthrall me, never shall be free,
Nor ever chaste, except you ravish me.

John Donne

Having breakfast with his wife, even though he is close to eighty years old...

When I asked him why his wife was staying in a nursing home,
He replied: She has been there for some years because she has Alzheimer's.
I asked: Will your wife be worried if you are late?
He answered: She doesn't know who I am anymore.
I was surprised and said: And you still go and have breakfast with her every morning, even though she doesn't remember you?
The man smiled and said: She does not know who I am, but I know who she is.

A touching story! Thanks for sharing Sahar :)

Never hesitate to hug someone or say "I love you."
The very resource of it is emense in what it can do and how our feelings can respond in kindness. The heart that sees this as wise can only inspire the goodness of all that it is!

This is a picture taken from directly above these camels in the desert at sunset. It is considered to be one of the best pictures of the year. When you look closely, you can see that the camels are the little white lines in the picture.
The black images you see are just the shadows!

Sometimes, our "problems" seem to be as big as the shadows...but they are little.
