Informing, not proselytising?

Booklet could be a straightforward Q&A style and include bullet-pointed answers from various denominations.

This is kinda where my head went to as well.
Keep the language more factual (for example, this is what we believe, these are our religious ceremonies and commitments, etc) and less emotive.

Must admit they don't offend me, in fact I have taken their booklets to find out what they are claiming.

I've done that once or twice. I've even had long conversations with door knockers if they are engaging, polite, and interested in an actual conversation.
(That's a big thing for me...I'm not a fan of unannounced strangers knocking at my door, religious or not)

Would it be possible to produce a piece of literature - a pamphlet or a leaflet - that explains one's religion whilst not attempting to convert people to it?

Can anyone point me to some real life examples?

I'm asking because I want to produce such a thing - to offer people who take an interest in a stall that offers prayers

(see this thread for my plan)

I want to explain my religion without outright instructing people to come and join it

Because I think that's kind of rude!

And I wouldn't like people to do that to me very much, although it doesn't really bother me when they do

Is this possible?
I've seen examples for smaller religions that might be poorly-known or misunderstood. What do you think the people in your area don't already know about your religion but should?

I've also seen churches put out summaries of the services they offer to the community without expectation of conversion (food banks, etc.). Does your church offer services to the community?

Certainly.

Just go to Wikipedia or Encyclopedia Brittanica and enter a religion in the search box.

Proselytising does not mean you outright tell people to come and join you. I think you have developed an aversion towards this word because of other people telling you they dont like it. Lets say tomorrow you use another word like "Marketing" (as an example), after some time this word Marketing would be also deemed the same thing and you would probably end up asking the same question about this word as well.

Some time ago the Atheists were advertising heavily. Big billboards. It was generally against religion and their branding exercise was based on them apparently communicating to atheists that they dont need to be isolated, oppressed or feel ashamed. This is proselytising, and atheists will never accept it is, and they get angry when ever someone calls that proselytising. ;)

But it just is.
