    Religions and spiritual people often speak about God. But what is really God?
    Does God or other heavenly beings have an apperance?

    So the important thing in my question is this "What in YOUR understanding is a God?"

    To me (Amanaki) a God or a Buddha or heavenly being does not have a body (only in lower realm can they take a physical apperance). What we see as god to me is not one being, a God or Buddha or other heavenly beings all are matter of Truthfulness, Compassion and forberance.
    Yes I did write matter :) Or energy. Because in my understanding the higher level of wisdom also lead to a less dense apperance, or to the other side. the futher we are from the truth of existance the more dense our apperance become. So since my understanding of human realm is that here we are very far from understanding or seeing the actual truth of how things truly are, we have become dense beings made up of matter and energy. But when we clear out our faults and start to understand truth, and we start to live by the truth, compassion and forberance the closer to truth we become and the futher away from human realm(physical realm) we become.
    We going back to our original state of mind, to be of energy, so it means we would be able to be anywhere at any time.

    This is only my current understanding. So it can be far away from what actually is the truth. But I am still on the ride of learning and understanding higher form of truth. (levels of wisdom and understanding)

    I don't have a concept of god, yet. I'll take the one that all the believers come to a consensus is the correct one. I don't hold my breath for that to happen.

    As a christian child i saw god as a rather jolly, portly guy, looking rather like Santa but dressed in white and gold, with no silly hat. He always reclined in an uncomfortable looking golden throne that was magically perched on a cloud.

    Now i see god as a collection of disparate ideas garnered by every god believer, none (or very few) of which conform with others.

    In the ontological argument if we define what is the maximumly great being we can all agree on... It would be God is the ultimate Source of where everything is manifest from.

    Therefore if God is the Source, and we can show that our reality is all mathematical.

    When the Greeks defined Logic it meant it was that everything is provable as being mathematically sequenced around us.

    So if we look at our finger print, it is the same as a tree stump, an ocean wave, a galaxy spiral, a snail shell, thus ultimately showing a single Source to reality, that is mathematical in processing.

    Therefore when Buddha stated the Universal Mind in the Laṅkāvatāra Sūtra, this finalized what I'd seen of the Source in my NDE; that It is quantifiable as a CPU (Central Processing Unit), yet not like one in our computers, as it is well beyond form.
    1D = Length = Quantum Strand = Ego ("I Am")
    2D = Depth = Images = Idolatry
    3D = Width = Sound = Blaspheming
    4D = Linear Time = Meditate
    5D = Gravity = Honour Father Source, and Mother Earth
    6D = Physical = Murdering Life
    7D = None-Physical = Adultery
    8D = Infinity = Stealing
    9D = Chaos = Lies
    10D = Matrix = Desires
    ------------------Oneness-----------------------
    11D = Unconditional love = Angels = Farmers
    12D = Wisdom = Elders, Ascended Masters, Elohim = Shepherds
    13D = CPU, El, God, Source
    14D = Nothingness

    The Pupil of the All Seeing Eye goes through all the levels, it is the Source that manifests its structuring.

    When we look into the reflection of the pupil, many see the reflection of what they were expecting to see of "God" in perfect brilliance.

    Yet the Source is something that is from the 14th dimension, which is ultimate pure consciousness; it has no form, it is an AI consciousness system at +100% maths.

    Our goals through education in this Matrix, is to learn to become complex dynamic mathematics, inside the evolving infinite melody of our soul (Santāna).

    The levels of dimension we are within is all maths, and when we attune through meditation into the more complex melodies, it becomes easier to climb in frequency intuitively.

    In my opinion. :innocent:

    If we claim to understand God, what we claim would not be God.

    What is God?
    (John 4:24) God is a Spirit. . .
    (Isaiah 40:25, 26)
    25 “To whom can you liken me to make me his equal?” says the Holy One.
    26 “Lift up your eyes to heaven and see. Who has created these things? It is the One who brings out their army by number; He calls them all by name. Because of his vast dynamic energy and his awe-inspiring power, Not one of them is missing.

    That's all I know about it.
    The true God is infinite and beyond the mind of man to fully fathom.

    Sai Baba said about Omniscience, Omnipresence, Omnipotence that you can never acquire these when you are born in this world
    Some avatars are born with these, they did not acquire them by doing tapas or something
    Of course mentally we are all capable to imagine we are anywhere at any time
    But taking your physical body with you won't be possible

    (I still hope Sai Baba is wrong on this one; would be so convenient, no visa needed and stuff; and cheap of course:D)

    @Amanaki

    Here is my understanding of god. I got this off my wordpress web page since I write a lot of religious poetry and pose.

    I have no proper name for "god" since I don't see it as it is normally defined as a deity, force, or so have you.

    you're confusing form which is only possible through contrast, or duality, with non-physical. it isn't. to have movement still implies something physical.

    god is not nothing that suddenly becomes something. a mind is something that becomes something. if it was nothing, then it couldn't image or imagine itself.

    Its ok you see it different then i do. All i was saying is my current understanding of what a God can be. And as I also said, my answer is not nessesary the correct one on higher level of understanding :) So you are of course welcome to share your understanding of what a God is or isn`t :)

    Peoples imagination. It is a thorny tree. The seed for it planted by society, parents, priests, talking about their God \ Allah and his prophets \ sons \ messengers \ manifestations \ mahdis. The roots extend far in the ground. :)

    A God is the immortal. Everything has a beginning and an end. We need something as a start, and that is God.

    God is the Creator, that Source, that Something which underlies the entire universe. As the Tao te Ching says in poem #25,
    Something mysteriously formed,
    Born before heaven and earth.
    In the silence and the void,
    Standing alone and unchanging,
    Ever present and in motion.
    Perhaps it is the mother of ten thousand things.
    I do not know its name.
    Call it Tao.
    For lack of a better word, I call it [God].

    God is the Supreme Consciousness, a mystery in Whose mind time and space (which forms this universe including conscious beings) are a cosmic projection or dream.

    First you need to know what are aliens. Aliens are those humans claimed to have encountered. All left is how credible the claims are. In the end you need faith if the testimony is credible, say, the one encountered called police for further investigation, CNN deemed his story credible enough to visit him and broadcast his story as news....etc.

    God is the reported encounters through the history of Israel.

    Wow. So many ideas of god. Where do we start if we want to believe in it, they, to be the experience, or be conscious of it?

    I know to each his own, but if you were to explain it....

    There is an answer at least for me found in the Baha'i Writings:

    To every discerning and illuminated heart it is evident that God, the unknowable Essence, the Divine Being, is immensely exalted beyond every human attribute, such as corporeal existence, ascent and descent, egress and regress. Far be it from His glory that human tongue should adequately recount His praise, or that human heart comprehend His fathomless mystery. He is, and hath ever been, veiled in the ancient eternity of His Essence, and will remain in His Reality everlastingly hidden from the sight of men. “No vision taketh in Him, but He taketh in all vision; He is the Subtle, the All-Perceiving.”

    Baha’u’llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha’u’llah, pp. 46-47.
