News flash...... Checks and balances of the three branches have already been put out of wack looong before Trump took office largly due to the massive increase in partisan politicking.
A good portion of it in my opinion is caused by the Socialist Democrats backing the judiciary to a point now as legislators rather than as interpreters. Also known as legislating from the bench.
There a notable move in creating a more centerlized government , where the power base has been descretly shifted over to the executive branch granting more presidential power to which Obama clearly enjoyed immensely prior to Trump taking advantage of the extended capability of the presidency through his own circumventing of congress during his regime.
Now as one might expect, it's biting the Socialists in the *** now, with a royally deserved swift kick in the neither regions I might add.

Both of your sources appear to be rather skeptical of the claims from the Ukraine. And it still does not excuse Trump's demand for an illegal investigation of Biden. You don't appear to have been paying attention. Trump wanted it publicly declared by the Ukraine that they were investigating Biden. If he thought that there was something amiss he should have ordered a FBI investigation. He broke the law there. Second if he is innocent why is he obstructing justice? Even Nixon did not illegally order his workers not to testify. Regardless of whether he is guilty about his acts with the Ukraine or not (he is guilty by the way) he is still guilty of obstruction.

Please let's agree Hunter Biden receiving millions of dollars from the guy who allegedly embezzled millions of dollars from Ukraine who received millions upon millions of dollars of U.S. foreign aid is worthy of being investigated by U.S. as well as Ukrainian authorities.
Please let's agree Donald Trump shouldn't be obliged to co-operate with those who've been trying to remove him from office since day one.

Why agree to that? We are not fools after all. Even if the Democrats are trying to remove him from office Trump still has to follow the law. In fact it appears that you just admitted that the Democrats do have valid grounds for impeachment. You all but admitted to obstruction of justice.

Trump isn't officially on trial yet, he has executive privilege not to respond to mere inquiries. When this impeachment coup political circus show moves to the Senate where Trump would be officially put on trial, then he will stand a fair chance of legally facing his accusers.
