I've long stocked up on things I get free or nearly free at Menards.
Mrs Revolt gave me a list of things to donate to the local hospital.
I searched Mr Van & the outbuildings.
Lo!
I have a big stock of rubber gloves & N95 respirators. I had no
idea that I was hoarding exactly what they needed. Go Menards!

So, fellow posters, how great are you?
This is the threat for tooting your own horn.

One rule:
No bashing anyone....politicians, posters, actors....anyone.

I'm too virtual for my shirt...too virtual for my shirt. I'm too virtual for my shirt.

N95 respirators are reportedly not effective in curbing this virus, so save the respirators for something else. I think the official dogma is that you should keep distance, wash hands with religious fervor, not touch faces and should wash faces. I think you should limit it though to washing your own face and hands and not those of strangers. Check with a doctor about that first.

You seem the type to help out others.
Any plans?
My mother-in-law has a bunch of elderly church lady friends.
So, before I go out and risk her life by grocery shopping and hitting the pharmacy, I get a list from a bunch of them and do the best I can.

Our local hospitals are asking for N95 respirators.
So all debates about efficacy aside, I'm complying.
They know more than do we internet gadflies.
But even if they're wrong, it'll still ease their angst.

You have no idea.
Try explaining to a vicious old biddy that, whether Hobby Lobby is open or not, I'm not shopping for orange crochet yarn. I don't care that it's 50% off.

Henrietta isn't really vicious. But she's 85 and accustomed to doing this stuff for herself. Now, she can't even go out shopping. Her car is so old it doesn't have seatbelts. Crochet is about all she has left. She can be extraordinarily difficult. But still...

Thanks for the info. I wonder if they are using them on the patients? They're a lot more comfortable than plain paper ones. Maybe the patients are more cooperative wearing more comfortable masks. I bet your sense of humor that's whats going on.

That's reasonable speculation.
