I just found my collection in the basement last weekend

I'll make a play list in another thread
You're so old that you.....
- Use plain carbon steel cutting tools
- Have an overhead line shaft flat belt drive shaper
- Hand scrape surfaces instead of grinding
- Have a weighted carriage on your lathe
- Still use 1/2-12 taps & dies
- Have no quick change gearbox on your lathe
- Sport a handlebar mustache

I remember when you had to turn a window crank to put your car windows up and down
I remember when you had to get out of the chair, and WALK to the TV to change the channels
I remember when there WAS no internet
I remember with there was no home PC too

Oh, please, youngster! I have owned several abacuses (abaci, to be correct), along with slide rules. There were no calculators that could fit in a pocket, and very few that could be carried by a man of decent strength!

Pencil and paper, however, was pretty readily available.

So it goes in a fictional country founded by a chimera of dingoes & British felons.
Reluctantly I have to admit that stinging truth.....but we have our share of revolting people too....do you have a migration issue?

We do.
No one wants to immigrate to Revoltistan.

Like rats eh? Can you stop sending them here then. Apparently they are hopping on passing ships and dodging customs and immigration at our shipping terminals.......please....we can't take any more. o_O

We have multi-national 'rats' in that case....not all of them are 'revolting' I have to say....and they are a cash cow for the hallowed halls of learning, so not many on scholarships....not trotting around our universities at present due to the bug. But I'm sure they are itching to come back. :D
