If you would consider having an abortion (or consider wanting your wife/girlfriend to have one) why?

    That's rather depressing.

I think that taking human life (or any life) without a justified reason is wrong because I believe that God created the world and is the giver of life. As such, it is He who makes the determination of who should live and who should not.

That being said, I, as someone who finds it profitable and sensible to do as I believe God says, believe that it is wrong to take life in any circumstance for which He does not allow a life to be taken.

Many people want the puppy, not so many people want the dog or the b*tch. It is no different with children.

If the baby had something horrible that would result in painful death after birth then yes, I would consider an abortion. In the case of assault I would just give the baby up for adoption (obviously, there are plenty of parents out there who would love to have a baby). Other then what I first mentioned, I have no reason to abort nor would I see it as moral or ethical. It would just simply be murdering my child.

Agreed, except I couldn't abandon my child if I was raped; I would still keep it

I'm not sure I could. I did have a friend who did and she was perfectly happy but for me and my husband, I'm not sure we could do that. And since I know there are sooo many people who wants children and cannot have them, it's possible that would be the best option in that situation.

In my opinion its circumstantial, cases like insest rape or heath concerns. While everyone I think should have a chance at life there are exceptions in favour of pro-choice where the pluses out weigh the minuses.

My father told me something when I was a kid about being a man, he said a boy when presented with problem generally seeks out a right/wrong answer, but a man when presented with the same problem should seek out a best/worst answer as a free thinking person will come to many realizations that what we think is right isn't always what's best.

If your intentions are for the well-being of the child, then that is perfectly fine
