If you were to live your life over again, but were permitted to make some changes what would they be?

I would have wished my birth family to have been non religious, as the god bit spoilt my childhood. I also wish my husband hadn't had a burst aneurysm in 2006, which caused him substantial brain damage. Apart from that I don't think I have done too badly.

Having no idea what the repercussions of any potential changes might be--and being reasonably satisfied with my life as it is--I wouldn't change a thing.

If I started over, most of the things I'd change were in my childhood so I'd never get to be who I am today...

More accurate and, perhaps, more productive would have been a youth less marred by political extremism while no less engaged in social justice advocacy.

I would have been less trustful of others when the purpose of one at least was apparently to exploit our friendship without regard as to the consequences. I think that not having had the abuse that resulted from this might not have made my life as difficult as it later became. Apart from that, not much else really, since I was, and remain quite a nice person without too many guilt feelings, and I would no doubt have achieved as much as I have done but probably more enjoyably - being closer with any friends made.

I did some really stupid stuff when I was a kid. So I'll probably not do said things if I started over.

My life's pretty good, but I'd do it all differently just for the hell of it.

There was a guy who had no luck with love, so when he died he prayed he'd come back with being much more intimate with women, so he was reincarnated as a Tampax.

If I could, the gods would have wished me to tread a different path. I'd like to say that would have gone to school, taken the steps necessary to not flush 15+ years down the drain on drug and alcohol addiction, and started working on finding my path earlier. However, it is not wise to resent the fate you have, and I am not entirely sure I would have changed, if I could.

I would insist on remembering the previous effort
so the mistakes would not be so bothersome

At the top of the list would be living on this world as something other than a human. Probably something like a tree instead. Or perhaps a snake.

I have a family and Kids and at times most times I say no but given the chance today, I would say yes. I played sports and loved sports at the end of my freshman year a stupid accident on my part ruined my knee and that ended the major sports for me. I would go back and change that event and see how my new life would be. Outdoor physical sports always made me happy, if I could of kept the ability at least I would always have the ability to brighten my day.

Ditto. This unrepentant and "strong" atheist has been rewarded, time and time again, for his good luck and hard work. I wouldn't change a fricken thing.

It would be to attend or other events that for whatever reason, "I couldn't be bothered" at the time.
    For example...
Joy Division in Bury about 2-months before Curtis committed suicide.
    Bob Marley at Deeside
Getting to Doncaster before steam ended

Great question. Im sorry to hear about your husbands struggles.

No much in answer to your question:

    1. That my eyes would have been opened 30 years ago to the deception of Bible fundamentalism
    2. That my grandson wouldn't have died
    3. That the law would change so I could live legally with the 2 women that I love and live with
    4. That I could have loved more

    Reincarnation done properly.
Woe unto those doomed to repeat their mistakes.
