Labour won our constituency seat last time because nearly everybody at Kent and Christchurch Universities registered to vote here and voted Labour on a special agenda.

I would vote Labour next time. On the side, I am fed up to the back teeth about all those claims of antisemitism against various Labour leaders. Nobody that I have spoken to has any idea about what the alleged antisemitism actually has been.
I'm not sure of what is going on. I'm not a Labour member and I don't know any Labour members who are antisemitic (the two I know are diehard anti-racists) but some of the stuff apparently thrown at Luciana Berger and other Jewish MPs by Labour members has been disgraceful.

In the 50' 60's and 70's an extremely high proportion of Jewish people voted labour in the UK, just as they did in Israel at that time.
The antisemitic avalanche seems to have been given its head since Coobin was elected leader.
There probably has always been a thread of antisemites in all parties, but the parties have effectively put a lid on them.
Corbin has lifted that lid in the labour party.
However that does not make the labour party as a whole antisemitic.

When you vote for a member of parliament and they are elected. They are expected to weigh the facts and vote accordingly. Things and situations change, and they vote according to how the new situation presents itself.

They are representative not delegates. This is the way the constitution directs.

If you want to spoil yor vote, no one will care in the least. Your voice will not be taken into account by anybody. It is the same as having nothing useful to say.

If you do not like the way the UK works, I suggest you try some where else.

We have moved on to discuss what we could do if parliament goes against the will of the people and we end up with another referendum that does not give us our democratic option to leave the EU.

I said a mass spoiling of ballot papers would have a far greater effect that just refusing to vote. It would show that we had taken the time and trouble to turn up at the Polling station, which apparently many Remoaners failed to do last time.

When ever, or if ever he is arrested again and charged, that charge will be reported.
It is not rocket science.

This is the standard of reporting in the MSM – “It was filmed during the trial of four men who were later convicted of gang-raping a teenage girl.”

Tommy Robinson WILL face contempt of court re-trial

The truth is, the trial had already concluded and the preps had already been found guilty. They were attending court to be sentenced for their crimes.

Tommy was taken into custody immediately and imprisoned without being given the opportunity to say goodbye to his family. The rapists were allowed to go home to say goodbye and pack a bag for prison.

During this period of grace, one absconded to Pakistan.

No wonder I am not the only that does not think this is fair and reasonable.

The Attorney General Geoffrey Cox would be far better employed concentrating on the EU rather than using his position of power to punish one of his critics.

If you only pursue people from one background it becomes pretty obvious to everyone what you are doing. We see you.

Tommy Robinson will not be bullied into silence. If he has something to say, he will say it regardless of any intimidation tactics. In today’s political climate, it takes a brave man to stand up for his principles and use his right of free speech while still exists to some extent.

What about all those innocent girls that were pursued in a disgusting way?

The back stop only applies as long as no other agreement is reached to resolve the border issue.
That is perhap the best incentive for this or the next government to come to an agreement. sooner rather than later.
It does not tie the hands of any government. But it does require some UK government to do something about the situation, to resolve the deadlock.

If that is the case, why did Mrs May’s ‘not really a deal, deal’ get voted down last time by a staggering 230 votes?

If you are in contempt of court you are always imprisoned immediately by the Judge, that is the correct procedure. and can be for what ever term he says.

Procedures for convicted criminals are what ever the Judge directs, but usually follow legal guidelines.

The constitution says that parliament is sovereign and can vote how they like, however the people have voted in a referendum.
Another referendum will no doubt include an option to continue talks or leave the EU in some manner. or alternatively remain.

Spoiling ballot papers is like throwing your rattle out of the pram, it is pointless... but do not let me stop you.

No one is bullying Robinson. If he is in contempt of court again he will be imprisoned again. The choice is entirely his. No one is threatening him. The law will be obeyed.

No more so than politicians trying to overrule the will of the people.

Parliament does not value sovereignty very highly if it would rather that the UK becomes a vassal state.

You mean as it was when it took 30 years for something to be done to protect those girls that were raped on mass.

So what did you or Robinson do about it for 30 years?
You can perhaps blame the local people, the local politicians and local police.
But when it got into court it was properly dealt with.

Yet they continue to go through this pantomime instead of getting the job done and getting us out.

May is in control of the Government and parliamentary business.
she is doing the negotiating.
Members of parliament can only go at her pace and put amendments to her votes.
it is clear that she is running down the clock so as to force them to back her.

She might run the Government, But MP's control the decisions of parliament with their votes.

I would guess that in a few month's time every political guru will be telling us how obvious the outcome of Brexit 'was' bound to be, but just now it seems as if the whole package of options is thrashing around as in a tumbler dryer.

I did vote 'leave', but just now I don't think we'll achieve Brexit. I cannot understand why the political specialists could not have explained the kind of detail that we now read about every day.

The only person (I can think of) whose suggestions were accurate got him criticisms for speaking out, the bank of England CE.

BANK of England chief Mark Carney has now admitted Brexit could spark a golden era of trade - just months after his "Project Fear" doom-mongering.

Now Mark Carney admits Brexit could spark golden era of free trade as flip-flopping Bank of England chief ditches Project Fear

Has he flipped again since this was published?
