If Messiah was on earth today as a person, wouldn't that mean that the world (because of the internet) would know it in an instant from when it happened? And if someone spoke to Him, he would know who he was and be able to truly give evidence that was reliable and true?
Would He be afraid of giving teaching again at the end time, that the bible speaks about?
    What language would He speak?

My thought is there would be believers, disbelievers, scoffers and ignorers probably a lot like 2,000 years ago.

He will be a strong, influential and informative figure
But it is only a human being
I think that coming off will not be in a period of normal life for humans
But at a time when the world is experiencing widespread unrest, fear, hunger, disease and earthquakes

Christ comes to those who are capable 'to see' the Coming' .This process never stopped.

How would you know? The Rev moon said He was the second coming. David Koresh said He was the second coming. Jim Jones said He was the second coming. How would you know?

I don't know because I do not follow Christianity :) My question arises from a different thread. But the one who claims to be Messiah would know what to do, don't you think?

How do you know they weren't incarnations of the messiah? Maybe the messiah isn't exactly what or who people think it is.

If the Messiah was alive today, English is the most spoken language.
The Bible says the whole world is deceived by Babylon the Great, the Mother of all Harlots (Revelation 17:5); so it isn't about fear, it is that truth has been turned upside down (Isaiah 5:20).
There are tons of made up religions in the world, where people accept a person claiming to be Christ as true, simply as it feels good, most don't study.

Thus there is no way of establishing if it is real, unless we first know what is real.
That is if Christ wants to be known, according to prophecy there are places as a thief at the midnight hour (Matthew 25:1-13, Mark 13:35-37, Revelation 3:3, Revelation 16:15-16), in Luke 17:20-37 at his return this whole generation has rejected him, then comes the Fire, and after we keep the enlightened saints.

Take into account Christ comes back before the destruction, thus what is the point in going around before the end of humanity saying, "I told you so"?

    In my opinion. :innocent:

I can think that Jesus could come back in the end time for Jews and Christians, But not for a Buddhist, The end time not going to be easy, but it is how it will be no matter what happens

    Referring to the Bible....
He won’t bother teaching; those days are gone.

He’s gonna clean up, on Jehovah’s behalf! Revelation 11:18.

Christians would say Christ will come to destroy Buddhism, and make Jews Christians.

Jews would say he is made up, and wouldn't accept him, even if he spent years explaining scriptures to them.

Buddhist are closer to Christ's teachings in the Synoptic Gospels, than any Jew or Christian.

The reality is Christ comes for the faithful, regardless of religion (Matthew 8:5-13).

    In my opinion. :innocent:

Just a short post to point out that "Babylon the Great" was a reference used for the Roman Empire near the end of the 1st century, largely because the Romans were treating the Church in much the same way as the Babylonians were treating the Jews seven centuries earlier..

Nope. Not if He came as He did the first time.

Mind you, the Second Coming is supposed to be a bit more dramatic than that.

Perhaps, and perhaps not. After all, that wasn't true the FIRST time around. People can be really stubborn.

I figure He would be about as afraid as the first time...if He came as He did the first time.

His Second Coming, however, wouldn't give Him anything to be afraid of.

Probably all of 'em...or at least as many as required. Probably. English is the 'international language' used by pretty much everybody who wants to communicate between nations, though Mandarin, I understand, is actually spoken by most people.

I would guess English, as one of His principle languages, though; not because of any perceived superiority, but because for most of the world, English really is the most often spoken second language. SOMEONE around speaks English....Just as, back when He was here the first time, most people spoke their own language...plus Greek and/or Latin.

Anyway, that's just me, musing and speculating.

When Jesus comes back, everyone will see him. Jesus himself said he would appear like lightning in the sky. (Luke 17:24)
And Revelation 1:7 says that all eyes will see him.
So his coming will not be secret or invisible as some say.
And since Jesus is God, he speaketh every language. But the language of God, which is spoken in heaven, and was spoken on earth by all until the destruction of the tower of Babel, is Hebrew.
(Through Abraham the Hebrew language came back to earth because he was taught by the angels.)

Yes, all the world will know that he is the messiah, and he himself will have no doubt. It will be as obvious as heck, what with worldwide peace, every Jew in the world returning to Israel, the Temple being rebuilt, him ruling from Jerusalem, etc.

Since he would be the Leader of Israel, he would have to speak at least Hebrew, English, and Arabic.

Obviously not, since he didn't do what the messiah is supposed to do.

Then why bother coming back at all? Why not just another good cleansing flood?
