If global warming one day destroys human life on earth, what would that say about BIble prophecy?

Some experts say that global warming might eventually cause an ice age. That might eventually destroy all human life on earth, at least a large percentage of people. That does not include the worst financial depression in history by far.

That it is wrong? Biblical prophecies are just the babblings of people and their knowledge of the world.
They are no longer applicable as factual events but poetic literature. The anthology of the prophecies of the Bible exist int heir own world and not in ours. They are amazing nonetheless and worth reading and contemplation

i guess if that were to happen, then we'd all be dead so it would make no difference whether we believe the bible today or not.

if we do believe it, we live in hope until we die.

and if we dont believe it, we live until we die.

Same outcome, different way of getting there.

The effects of global warming are gradual, which leaves lots of time for people to realize what is happening. If global warming one day destroys all human life, people will know what is going on long before the last person dies.

The predictions of "experts" in the past have proven woefully inaccurate. One has only to examine the weather forecasts for an example. The Bible's prophecies, on the other hand, have proven remarkably accurate, IMO. Many who discount the prophecies in the Bible have never closely examined them.

Global warming will cause an ice age?
Anyway, we survived one not too long ago.
(Revoltingistan was completely covered in a mile or so thick ice sheet.)
We came thru it just fine....& we got some bi***ing lakes when the glaciers melted too!

Maybe, but even without an ice age, water levels will rise, and will cause the worst economic depression in history by far. Today's political problems seem to be important, but they will be nothing compared with rising water levels. Most of the world's major cities are next to oceans, or next to rivers that flow into oceans, or gulfs.

Rising water levels will destroy all of the coral reefs in the world.

Some people will have a degree of financial prosperity as people move away from water, which will cause a land boom regarding real estate that is dozens of miles away from water.

The bible prophesies vultures, hawks, etc, of the air to feast on the bodies of man in the book of revelation,..but it appears that Global Warming will result in sharks being in for their cut too...

Sharknado Slams Los Angeles, Media Blames Global Warming

As the national media reported, the local media blamed this on climate change: “Global warming IS the reason…”

So exclaims a local TV news reporter as a sharknado—a climate-change-abetted windstorm that sucks in an armada of malevolent sharks—approaches the heart of Los Angeles.

Based on my conversations with leading climate scientists, it seems premature at best for a pre-documentary to pre-attribute an individual sharknado to climate change. I examined the climate/tornado link in great detail here and concluded:

When discussing extreme weather and climate, tornadoes should not be conflated with the other extreme weather events for which the connection is considerably more straightforward and better documented, including deluges, droughts, and heat waves.
Just because the tornado-warming link is more tenuous doesn’t mean that the subject of global warming should be avoided entirely when talking about tornadoes.

Significantly, Harold Brooks, a senior scientist at NOAA’s National Severe Storms Laboratory, told the media this week, “There are records of small fish being picked up by waterspouts, but sharks are pretty big and that makes it a lot harder.”

This suggests that if there ever is a sharknado, global warming probably played a role in creating convection and winds capable of entraining a significant number of sharks.

This footage underscores that point:
