What was the real reason that God destroyed just about the whole tribe of Benjamin all except 600 people of the tribe of Benjamin.
What was the tribe of Benjamin doing?
Some 30 years after dividing the conquered land among the then 13 Tribes of Israel, [Joseph having been divided into two tribes,] we read in Judges 17: There was a man called Micah, who lived in the hill country of Ephraim and he hired a young Levite from Bethlehem to stay with him and be his priest. That Young Levite was Jonathan the grandson of Moses, whose concubine ran away and returned to her family in Bethlehem. Jonathan followed her to Bethlehem and convinced her to return with him, but in the Benjaminite city of Gibeah she was raped and sodomised to death by some no-good Benjaminite perverts from that tribe.

The Anointed……. The
WHOLE tribe of Benjamin
WAS destroyed, men, women, children, and even their animals. The 600 fighting men who sought refuge at the Rock of Rimon, were from the tribe of Dan, who could not remove the original inhabitants of the coastal land that had been allocated to them, and were forced to live in the hill country of Benjamin.
Recap from Post #152 in this thread.
Dan 'The Giant' was sterile, his mother 'Bilhah' was raped by Reuben the first born of Israel, from which rape she conceived and bore a daughter, who she named Hushim.
Bilhah died a few years later and Dan Adopted his little sister 'Hushim' as his own
“The Talmud states, "Whoever brings up an orphan in his home is regarded...as though the child had been born to him." (Sanhedrin 119b).” In other words, the adopted child is to be treated as a child born to the father of that house." Where ever a man has no sons, and his descendants are counted from his daughter, she is given the appellation "BEN." Hushim ben Dan is the sister and adopted daughter of Dan, who married into the tribe of Benjamin and through whose son Abitub, the tribe of Dan is counted.
Hushim was married to a man from the tribe of Benjamin, whose name was Shaharaim to who she bore two sons, Abitub and Elpaal, who are also called Shuppim and Huppim. Shaharaim divorced Husim, before Jacob took his family into Egypt, and Moved into the Land of Moab, where he sired sven sons to a woman named Hodesh, It was from the descendants of Hodesh, that King David's mother came..
All the descendants of Hushim, are descendants of Shaharaim, and are therefore Benjaminites.
Knowing that Dan was sterile, Jacob divided Joseph into two tribes, adopting Joseph's two sons as his own. Thereby maintaining the 12 tribes that are recorded as the 144,000 in Revelation.
King Saul, who stood a head taller than any other Israelite was a descendant of Hushim's second son Elpaal. End.
The Testament of Reuben the first born of Jacob/Israel 3: 11; “Had I not seen Bilhah bathing in a covered place, I had not fallen into this great iniquity. For my mind taking in the thought of the woman’s nakedness, suffered me not ‘to sleep’ until I had wrought the abominable thing. For while Jacob our father had gone to Isaac his father when we were in Eder, near to Ephrath in Bethlehem, Bilhah became drunk [During the harvest festival] and was asleep uncovered in her chamber. Having therefore gone in and beheld her nakedness, I wrought the impiety without her perceiving it, and leaving her sleeping I departed.
From the Testament of Benjamin who was born while Jacob/Israel was camped near Ephrath; 1: 3; “As Isaac was born to Abraham in his old age, so was I to Jacob, and since Rachel my mother died in giving me birth, I had no milk: therefore, I was suckled by Bilhah her hand maid. Bilhah the mother of Dan, who had been raped by Reuben, had been barren for some 14 years, and just happened to be lactating when Benjamin was born.
Hushim, was the child born of Bilhah from the rape of Reuben and she was adopted by her older brother, the sterile giant Dan after the death of their mother Bilhah.

The concubine of Jonathan the grandson of Moses, who was the priest of Micah, ran away and returned to her family in Bethlehem. Jonathan followed her to Bethlehem and convinced her to return with him, but in the Benjaminite city of Gibeah she was raped and sodomised to death by some perverts in that city.
Jonathan then cut her body into pieces and sent one to each of the tribes of Israel demanding that they do something about it. See Judges 20: 3-7. The Israelites then demanded that the tribe of Benjamin hand over the guilty perverts for execution, but they ignored them and instead they gathered together 400,000 trained soldiers into the city of Gibeah from all the surrounding Benjaminite cities to defend themselves from any attack that was bound to follow.
It was not so much what the perverts had done, but the fact that the tribe of Benjamin refused to hand over the guilty, which was the cause of the war in which every man, woman, and child, from the tribe of Benjamin were butchered.
Phinehas, the grandson of Aaron was he, who had driven a spear through the bodies of Zimri and Cosbi while they were having sex in a tent, just after Israel had captured the territories of Sihon and Og on their way to Jericho, was the priest in Shechem, who advised the Israelites to attack Benjamin. Jonathan the grandson of Moses and Phinehas the grandson of Aaron are both involved in this story.
