I won't have it

It is so difficult to leave,
When you want to get off a train which is still moving.
And you dance around words...
trying to say:
"It hurts, but I don't want you any more"
I hate those little lies,
which actually hide bigger truths.
It is better to be punched in the face,
to be knocked out...but tomorrow it's all over.

And another romance is fading away,
Leaving a little wound.
Which someday will be just a life line among other life lines.
Because love at this age is everything and nothing.
And I won't be content flying low. I won't have it.

Each of us chooses their own path
And I do know what I want and what I don't.
I want an overwhelming love, a borderless sea which can never dry up.
