Here too, unfortunately. :/ its still true, owing to HIV scares and the long dormancy period in which HIV tests will be negative. There is an increasing dialogue about it though so perhaps it will change in the future.Where I live, men who have had sex with another man in the last year aren't allowed to donate blood.
