Some of this purpose of human zoos was to prove Darwin's theory about evolution.

What racist people did in the past was certainly wrong, but does not mean that the theory of evolution was wrong just because some racists believed.

For example there are racists that believe the earth is round. The theory stands or falls regardless of the moral qualities of the people that believe it.
