How to stay healthy working a metal saw?

The Sum of Awe

Brought to you by the moment that spacetime began.
I work at a machine controlled hemsaw that shoots coolant onto the blade constantly as it cuts through metal parts. Then I have to take the parts to a sander type things to get the rough cuts off the edges. So not only am I exposed to excessive metal dust, but also coolant fumes.

I bought a couple N95 masks but then I found out they were ineffective against coolant fumes. I brought it up to my bosses and they basically told me that I'm worrying about nothing, and they seemed annoyed that I complained, but they bought me a couple masks anyway.

Is the coolant water-based or oil-based? Does it say anything about precautions against fumes on the container? Can you get hold of the MSDS for the coolant, to see what it says there? If you can find out the product name and supplier it ought to be possible to find the MSDS on-line, if you can't get hold of a paper copy.
