Because we have to approach God on our own. Defiance is a characteristic of the will. So is compliance. A forced relationship is no relationship.

If before you had children, would you still have them "knowing" they would become a murder? A thief? A pedophile? A rapist? Etc?

Anyways it's been nice chatting with you. You believe in God, I don't.

Theodicy is problematic at best. If you knew that they would become healers, teachers and helpers, what then? My own thought is that God love’s us enough to give us life. God respects us enough to allow us sovereignty over our life.
