“This form is the one that allows a philosopher-in-training to advance to a philosopher king (or queen). It cannot be clearly seen or explained, but once it is recognized, it is the form that allows one to realize all the other forms.” –The Republic, Plato, Higher Learning Academy, 380 BC.

“And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth: (A = 130) And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: (B = 800) and he begat sons and daughters: And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: (C = 930) and he died.” --Genesis V, Authorized Arithmetic, Garden of Eden Investments, King James Bible.

We know that A + B = C. If, the ‘Form of the Good’ Hypothesis is : A = $130 (Return); B = $800 (Investment); and C = $930 (Total Investment and Return Paid at Maturity). What is the Rate of Interest God used to calculate a $130 Return, Before the Big Flood?

Curious: What does the Clash of the Titans have to do with your question?

What is wrong with that picture? There are no penises which greatly disappoints me. I question it's authenticity.

    Edit:

Also, I don't really understand your question. They all died, so didn't they all loose compared to immortality? In the context of the story, that is.

If you look closely, you can see at least seven. Plus some kind of mythological penis insect I've circled in red.

@Athena Plato, since you're a new member, you're probably unaware that there is a "Games/Pics/Jokes/Stories" sub-forum that would have been more appropriate for your post irrespective of its somewhat underwhelming quality.

Penises aren't men's most attractive feature. The guy on the right in the foreground has a magnificent set of glutes!

Yes. Or did they? If, we use Plato's Forms, Socratic Method, and Hypothesize that God "Hid" another Story in the Garden of Eden; and the Context is that Man = Investment and His Death = Investment at Maturity, and these Human (Investors) lived a natural life, and passed on their Returns (Coins) to their Sons and Daughters, and they did the same, and so on, and so on forever; the promised immortality of the Investments and Coins (Not Humans) could in theory be achieved.

Perhaps this is just me, but I normally find most men, and most masculine features not very appealing. Except for you know, for some reason. But then again every once in a while I go "whoa that guy is hot" and see him attractive in the way I do women. I know, I'm weird.

I'm failing to see how going from immortality to mortality is anything but a horrible idea unless one goes crazy from being immortal or something or really didn't want to. Also I am having trouble understanding what the heck your premise is much less your logic or conclusion.

I feel your pain, I had a lot of trouble getting my head around it too. Trying to explain my "Pallas" Literary Algorithm (replacing one form or word with another) that I propose God used to test our understanding of Parables, is difficult. A demonstration might help? If you get a moment check out my Garden of Eden "Pallas" Translation Thread. Thanks.
