Ancient concept: The more we know the greater border with unknown. There is no end.

I am not ready to discuss that information.

That we do not know something does not mean we cannot learn about that something and come to know much or all there is to know of it.

Of course. Also, a question lingers in my mind: If we know only some 5% of universe do we always make correct conclusions?

No. But we have to make the best conclusions we can based on the evidence we have. That is why scientific explanations and conclusions are tentative. They allow for the discovery of new information that could result in previous explanations and conclusions being tossed out. However, there are no valid conclusions or explanations that can be based on objects that have no conceptual substance.

and in reply.....as from the beginning of my membership....

there will not be a fingerprint, a photo, an equation or a repeatable experiment

    there will be no proving

but science believes in things not proven
    dark energy
    dark matter

can't prove it.....but we are CERTAIN it's all there

    somewhere

100% agree. I posted this for atheists to take critical look at base of our knowledge.

We don't know jack ****, but we have enough common sense to know that God doesn't exist

All knowledge is tentative. But the scientific method has been proven to be the most reliable way to understand reality. Not knowing everything does not equate to not knowing anything. Acceptance of any given hypothesis or theory is apportioned according to the amount and quality of the data supporting it.

Scientists observe and create hypotheses. Before I. Newton, things fell down. Apples falls from trees. 1. Theist - “God made it go down!”. 2. - Scientist - Apples fall when no longer attached to their stems. Perhaps there is a force, that we all see every day across the planet, that makes things move toward the center of the planet. Because that is what we see. Let’s call that force......”gravity”. Now if only we could come up with a way to measure and calculate how strong it is and what generates it. Hmmmmmm.....”

Today (and before), the measured expansion rate of the galaxies and star systems we see around us does not exactly correspond to the masses (and thus gravitational pulls of the visible matter in the same volume of space). 1. Theists - “God did it! No need for your mumbo-jumbo “science” malarkey! 2. Scientists - “There must be more to it than just normal matter and its corresponding gravitational field generation. Because that is what we see. Let’s call this yet undefined power/material “dark energy/matter”. Now if only we could come up with a way to measure and calculate how strong it is and what generates it. Hmmmmmmm......”

The expression, “The more I learn, the more I learn there is to learn”, is not a slander of science and how foolhardy it is to try to learn things.
Rather, it is an expression of wonder and amazement, and thrill of future investigation. For there is still so much to be studied, and that is a good thing.
Only the pathetic fools say that we’ve learned enough, and should stop.

Well obvioisly no. I think we bumble along, and through the process of elimination of making every wrong turn we make the correct turn, only to take one step and proceed to repeat process!!!! I think inspite of ourselves should be a philisophical topic!!!

"God did it," just means that universe operates on Natural Law basis
