I've decided that people who choose 7 over 8
do so because of experience writing in cursive.
This so obviously cromulent that no discussion
is needed.

I do #7

I went to Catholic grade school, and am right handed, and do well in cursive.

...I can also type. I learned that at Bishop Noll Institute in 9th grade. (They also had a really good swimming program)

I hate writing in cursive. I hated learning how to write in cursive. One of the worst classes I ever had.

Then there are some people who write in cursive, and half the time, it looks like a bunch of illegible scribbling. Cursive sucks.

I gave up on cursive long long ago.
This happened to many engineers &
architects who printed text on drawings.

I expected the answer to determine which character you are from the Lord of the Rings movies...
