No, nothing "special" about me, not in my mind anyway.

Then maybe you should stop trying to tell a group of people their own origins and history, because claiming you know something they don't (especially when this group has been around for thousands of years before your own) comes across as incredibly hubristic and preachy.

I would say that trying to tell anyone something about themselves that they do not know only comes across as
"hubristic and preachy" to those who have closed their minds.
And this is the epitome of arrogance when one says in their hearts...."I don't know, so therefore you don't know either"

Telling Jewish people they don't know their own origins when they have been tracing them since Biblical times is pretty hubristic. Considering that Judaism is an etho-religion, they've taken pains to ensure they do know. It's usually some ideology driven agenda that makes people say that Jewish folks have their origins wrong and someone else knows better. It also looks downright antiSemitic and rude.

pssst…(a little secret)….there was no "bible" in "biblical times"
and the "Jews" have never had one (bible), and reject the one that is.

    Are you confused ?

They had the Torah. The Torah is what commands the Shabbat keeping. The Torah is the foundation of their faith. Unless you are seriously pedantic you know what I mean by 'Biblical times'. The times in which the people described therein lived. I'm only sorry you need this explaining to you.

Oh, you must mean the "Hebrew" people......perhaps ?
That's strange indeed, that there were no "Jews" back then.....huh ?

Oh, yeah, you're into this nonsense. OK, since you're a pedant I'll walk you through it. It's alright, I work with kids.

Yes, the people who follow the Torah. The people to whom the Torah was given at Sinai. The Israelites, whatever you wish to call them, of which Yehuda was a tribe. And Benjamin. Then the tribes were scattered abroad and we don't know where they are. Now the only tribes who we do know who they are are Yehuda and Benjamin, collectively called Jews after their tribe-area of residence, Yehuda. The Yehudim and the Benjamites survive today to be known as Jews.

    Better?

Much better.....see, that wasn't so hard , was it .
And the tribes (10) that were scattered abroad...…"we" don't know where they are ?
    Maybe "we" don't......but "I" do.
Because you see , I am an "Israelite", born and raised in America.....just like most Americans are "Israelites" too.

Now, try and work with this "kid", if you can.

"Ephraim" and "Manasseh" = two of the "lost tribes", where did they go ? They can be traced historically.
Today they are the nations of Britain and America......why ?
Because they are the two sons of Jacob ( Israel ) that received his birthright blessings to become two
    "great nations" on their own.
You can read all about that here ( GENESIS 48:19 )…...and that's in the "Torah"...….BTW.

The truth that has no backing whatsoever and is only believed by a handful of people who aren't happy with their identity and need to self-identify as Israelites even though they're really just Christians with an inferiority complex? As a Brit, I don't need to somehow up my credentials by appropriating someone else's identity; being British is blessing enough.

Yeah, I was wondering the the Anglo-Israel BS would rear its head.

    British Israelism - RationalWiki

"Most British Israelists are merely eccentric and not particularly racist. The exception is Christian Identity, an explicitly white supremacist variant of British Israelism popularized among the Ku Klux Klan and related groups during the late 20th century. Christian Identity extends British Israelism beyond merely being about the British, to include all of the so-called "white race" - Germanic, Celtic, Slav, Italic, Caucasian, Aryan, etc.. It also adds anti-Semitic beliefs not shared by most British Israelites, claiming that the Jews are impostors to the claim of descent from the Israelites, and are actually descended from converts from the Khazar tribe or the children of the devil. The 1902 book Judah's Sceptre and Joseph's Birthright by J. H. Allen is a British Israelist tract that is cited by scholars as one of the reasons why U.S. white supremacists discovered British Israelism and twisted it into the explicitly racist Christian Identity theology."

    1. I'm not the one who gave (prophesied) the blessings to the inheritors ( sons of Jacob ) in the sight of and under the will of
    who they know as "God".
    2. The tracing out of nations ( peoples ) over time historically is a fairly easy endeavor in this technological day and age, and the
historical evidence speaks for itself. ( to those with ears to hear ).
    3. And this coming from a citizen of a nation ( Britain ) who doesn't even know what his "Queen" sits upon at coronation . (just for starters)

I'm sorry you believe this rubbish. So far you've insulted the Israelites by claiming to be one, claiming their G-d is a demiurge, claiming they are ignorant, claiming they don't know where they're from and suggesting you know something that years upon years worth of historians and archaeologists don't.

I'm done with your anti-Semitic vapidity.
