How are these Great Beings explained?

You are not a christian. I experienced this. Just not many christians explain it as I do if not at all. Doesn't mean it's wrong. Just different. It's not a curse word.

Also, you should not change your position everytime. Sometimes you speak as if you are a Christian, and sometimes you say you do not believe in god. For the discussions you should be consistent.

Carlita - Investigate Truth answered as to why I used Chameleon. It was a Colourful way to say how your changing views in a significant amount of posts.

Which brings me to a final point I think I will contribute to this thread.

I pray for all that they consider Baha'u'llah and His Message may contain the Truth the world needs and then look at it in that light. All the great beings are from the One God.

May life be good for all.

"Charmeleon in color" I was thinking of using that in my novel.

I never heard a christian talk about god without referring to scripture. It seems like yall dont trust me since im only "man" and you dont scripture if it comes from me or a christian so basically world peace has no trust in the validity of another persons' experience and/or belief system.

Trust is one key opeace. Without it of course you have your choice to walk away "and" that is counterproductive.

But yeah i do talk like a catholic since they dont quote scripture. I dont mind talking about the bible if you want to learn from our differences than confirm biases off similarities.

Trust? Most people, when solving a problem they can't solve themselves go to an expert in the field, not a generalist. Doctors refer patients to specialists. What patient finds some vague answer acceptable? We want specifics, no? I find it quite amazing that in studying other religions, the Baha'i' look to their own scriptures first. Yes that likely gives the answer they want to hear. Other answers, despite most likely being more accurate, might go against the status quo, so no.

Thanks for hanging in here. You do an amazing job.

Can you imagine all the major world religions come together to build greater world peace and bahai walk away because he feels everyone should follow the promised one in order to do so? (or a christian, christ etc)

I mean JW offers me Watchtowers when they can. Catholics want me to come back to church after giving me a fifth rosary. Im sure there be more o offering without door to door evangelizing or another inquisition.

Bottom line is that 'my way or the highway' simply doesn't work. Too many people take the highway, and run away. Many groups refuse to participate in interfaith discussion, because of all kinds of reasons, like the notion that the other people there will somehow corrupt them, but also more commonly because 'we're above that.

For me personally, and with the training/teachings we have, for a more accurate assessment, we practice 'be the watcher' and even though we're part of the debate, we have to take a step back occasionally, and view it as if we were in the audience, and a neutral participant. This brings, in my opinion, a much more rounded perspective.

People who cling to the infallible prophet faiths must need that. it provides security, a safe haven away from too much distraction, like minded company, and more. In other words, it perfectly meets the needs of individuals needing that type of situation. Just because it doesn't work for me, doesn't mean it doesn't work for them. Obviously it does.

But somewhere in growth there is a jump over to 'oh oh, maybe not everyone perceives things this way.' I'm not sure what causes that jump, and it is a big one. On a personal note, I took a 10-15 year hiatus from Hindu practices, Hindu philosophy, and more. Guess what? it wasn't the end of the world. We enjoyed ourselves in ways we couldn't have otherwise. But most of all, it made us realise that it really was for us. It suits us.

As the saying goes, 'When the going gets tough, the tough get going."

HERE IS A REFLECTION...

Heartache, Happiness,
Agony, Ecstasy,
Sorrow, Joy.
Loneliness, Reunion.
Darkness, Light.
Concealed, Revealed.
Opposites attract,
negatives highlight positives.
Pain brings happiness,
tribulation brings Joy.
Oh God may this life be full of negatives,
so we can learn to appreciate the positives.

we re not taught to hate anyone no matter their choice of doing what they do, we are taught to learn how to tame our 5 vices ( kaam krodh lobh moh ahankar) , based on individual capacity of their gifts/ earned tenancies of the past life ..one would naturally evolve to his best fit role on the society.
We're also shown the reason of why the churning of knowledge is possible only through evolving in knowledge and this process is by design.
for god's reason for creation is not to get worshiped ..but to experience and learn thru his omnipresence within us all.
one life's wrong doings do not lead to everlasting hell-fire.
re-incarnation explains why one is born with x tendencies and gifts and others with different , and this the chances to get liberated are earned by effort of many life evolving .only when the soul is ripe and deserving it gets liberation into purity. untill then its free to evolve in whatever role attracts one to play in the grand leela ( play). even the worst character Like ravana ( can be compared to satan) is allowed and forgiven for he played his part in the play and willingly accepted his defeat y the hands of righteousness .

The kauravas in mahabharat ( teh side that faught aganist KRISHNA himself ) was awarded Heavnly planets too... CAN YOU IMAGINE GOD HIMself giving his enemy heven? that is how you understand that the one behind the play is the wisest of all.

if i show you hate , ego anger or any such things its my personal failure , which i have admitted time and again . that is my personal struggle ... without pretense . if i bruise others in the process , i also offer them an opportunity to earn + ..however , i do not agree with religious govt. ruling world no matter how smart they may be . religion is a personal choice .

and i would be breaking my individual personality to become a clone of tony or adrian , i am silent roar. love me or love me ..you have no choice.

i dont like bahubali law not today not ever and i don't even have time to read it nor the wil to learn NEW way of worship. ..please ..thanks but no thanks..god made you to worship.. i have done enough of it in past life... this life i came to enjoy being silent roar.

Homosexuality is a sexual orientation. Sexual orientation is not an action and has no bias on gender and sex. Religion creates bias.

Homosexuals are people who have sexual (intimate/spiritual/so have you) orientation with another human being. Religion should not dictate love based on sex (genitals) but on one's spirit.

For example

Many homosexuals are Catholic. They build platonic relationships because they feel their spirit and love with their friends is more important than intercourse. They give up the feelings of consummating their love because they define their actions as sins.

Many homosexuals are in religions that forbid them to love other people as god loves them all because of heir sex. Many find that sacrifice is better than being in a relationship and not being able to touch the person they are spiritually in love with. Homosexual Catholics sometimes take the vow of celibacy.

They rather love god since they feel they cant give gods love to whomever they love because of their sex.

It depends on the person and how they define themselves as homosexuals. You must ask them how they identify before judging whether they should be in X religion. A lot of times people leave religion because they are not accepted as people and they are told how god should love them.

Many go to god-religions because they love god first.

Intercourse has nothing to do with it.

What is the homosexual trading off (outside of not being able to love)?

From obeying the laws and Teachings of Bahaullah we receive inner peace, contentment and joy and happiness and our lives become spiritual and free from material attachments.

These Teachings are to bring us peace and well being and after 40 years I can say that they do. Next year is our 40th wedding Anniversary and when I met my wife in Burma all I could say in Burmese was 'I love you'. But over the years our marriage, instead of going off track, it became stronger as we both tried to live a Baha'i life. Whenever we had problems we would consult what Baha'u'llah said on the topic and it would solve things.

For instance, my dear wife used to have hysterical nightmares always of dead people cuddling her. She would be visibly shaken all day. I almost had to call an ambulance once then my niece in Burma said we should look at Ruhi Book One together. Ruhi are free courses for both Baha'is and non Baha'is on how to be spiritual and are aimed at helping all become spiritual not conversion. We have these courses over Skype etc. I run them often. We began and after a few months she became calmer. The nightmares still came but she was spiritually stronger to put them aside. As a child she was taught about ghosts and spirits by the Buddhust monks in her town and so she was always superstitious. Now after a few years she has become completely healed. She still has the nightmares but ignores them. A far cry from when she nearly had a stroke.

The Writings of Bahaullah have a special power to help people with all sorts of problems. We also consult doctors and experts as this is a law too but spiritual healing is there for all and there are many useful prayers, meditations and writings which can greatly assist all people.

Only by trying something can we know if it is useful or not. It's not about us being better but about having something precious that humanity might find very useful if it can stop seeing us as a competitive religion. We are really just servants of humanity with a lot of solutions to offer to current day problems and hope that people don't look past these solutions just because they don't believe in Baha'u'llah.

Yes, there are similarities between Islam and Bahai Faith. There are similarities between all Revelations, but Bahai Faith is not a product of Islam.
Bahai Faith was founded by Bahaullah. Bahaullah had said the period of Islamic dispensation had ended, and it was time for a new Revelation. The new Revelation has new Laws and Ordinances, which abrogats those Laws of Islam. Bahaullaha was exiled and imprisoned by the Muslims, and many of His followers were killed by Muslims, so How could it be, the Product of Islam, when the People of Islam tried all they can to destroy the New Religion?
To outward seemingly, it is correct to say, Bahai Faith was founded by Bahaullah. It was neither product of Islam, nor Israel, England or Russia. It is the Product of Bahaullah!
Is Buddhism and Jainism related to Hinduism? In what ways are any of them related to Christianity?

Exactly. And why would a homosexual's friends, a homosexual's parents, or any other person who is tolerant of homosexuals want to. Many people are not fond of bigoted prejudicial religions. Just sayin' (I like that.)

homosexual loves his neighbor literally without bias i guess? the fault is in me that i can't love men like a homosexual can, if its LOVE love ..

.lust is a vice hetro or homo..so it should be tamed gradually, and used for spiritual advancement ..methods given in geeta on how to gradually tame ..so minimum damage to your being. still takes effort ..but Krishna says your intent is enough ..you tried ..good job...if you dint get there fully atleast you learnt how to tame it...next life you learn BCDEF.!!

Keep in mind

1. Homosexuality is a sexual orientation not an action

2. Homosexuals identify in many ways; no one person fits under one religion's definition. Its always better to ask first

3. Homosexuals who usually is identify as LGBTQ do not use the word homosexual because many religions describe it by what people do not who people are.

4. Straight people can be homosexuals according to the bible and probably other god-religions as well.

From obeying the laws and Teachings of Bahaullah we receive inner peace, contentment and joy and happiness and our lives become spiritual and free from material attachments.

This is for all people. One's sexual orientation doesnt exclude a person from these things you mention.

Remember, before you form an opinion about someone homosexual, Hindu, Epileptic, whoever, ask about how they see themselves first. Your religion could be describing something totally different but you tie it to people because of words.
