Hooray! More adverts with added intrusivity

Is it just me or are these new adverts on the desktop and mobile versions ridiculously annoying?

It's like having a virus when you close an advert and a mysterious floating x reappears a few seconds later in the same place.

The way the same advert appears multiple times when scrolling down the same thread on mobile in no way denigrates the user experience either, especially when the tread 'jumps' as the advert loads and realigns the thread.

For adverts this annoying there should at least be some free pornography or something to make up for it

Adguard works very well.

I try to avoid using adblockers because sites have to make revenue from somewhere, but when they get to the ridiculous level of pop up ads every 30 seconds then they become unusable without them.

Maybe we'll get some autoplay video ads next, I really love those. They definitely encourage me to visit sites more frequently.

Guys can we search a bit before making threads. There are already a few other threads regarding this. The ads haven't even been up for a day. Give us time to tweak things.
