Sounds well planned by a planned pansy planter. We've no bedding plants here. I'm guessing we're a month behind you. Boss does the annuals. I'm more a perennial and vegetable guy. Hardy fruit, hardy roses, over at that other landscaping spot.

It's early for us to put them out.
We have some 21F nites coming up,
so I'll have to cover them while they sleep.

Pansies can take a bit, yes. Pretty tough they are. Nothing beats kale though. I could almost eat it still, from last year. We're thinking of downsizing the back yard garden, as parts are just way too shady, and have never grown much at all. Funny thing, that, plants liking sun. Boss does marigolds mostly, and tries other things that look interesting to her. I do nasturtiums from seed. Helps spike up the salad.
