    Yo! James, Uncle Terry recommends that you find another site to share. The one you shared has some really big, red flags in it.

    Please explain "red flags"; who created them, what for and last but not least, why-?

    The document says: "STRANGER—The term “stranger” is mentioned 123 times in the Holy Bible"

    When I searched, "Ger" I came up with 33 occurrences in 32 verses in the Tanakh.

    But even if 123 is correct, so what?

    First tell me, ... I found a Home Page and eight additional web pages on the website that you linked to. Were you aware of that? and are you well-informed regarding what is on each of those pages?

    I did look at the site or else I would not have asked for comments about it.

    No I am not. That is why I brought it here for review and discussion. Have you looked at the (8) pages yet & if so, please comment :)-

    Ohhhh, I think I see where you're going with this... I'll go thru each of the occurrences... but I'm pretty sure that it doesn't mean what you think it means.

    The Jewish people were strangers in the land of egypt, not in present day Israel.

    Just checking.

    Hmmm, ...
    • You "stumbled" over the site;
    • you looked at it;
    • you are not well-formed about the contents of the site's pages;
    • you claim to be a Baptist convert from Catholicism;
    • you're male and in your 20s;
    • you like to smile a lot; and
    • you've shared a link to a seriously anti-Israeli pro-Palestinian website.
    • The only thing missing is a "No Jews" sign. You got one of those?

    That is what I said
    that is what I said
    that is why I posted it here, you can help me get better informed
    No, I do not attend any church
    So what-?
    Smiling is good, I hope it spreads
    Don't remember doing that, please share the link and I will acknowledge it or else you are not telling the "truth"
    Please don't take this personal, this is about the Old Testament which excludes you
    If you are saying those events didn't take place then by all means state it here and if possible (i doubt I can) I will send an email to the site email address and report your concern to the author
    :)-

    As did I. After your rebuttal of that link I checked on the web and found three (3) other references to it.

    Israeli intelligence service, Mossad, has confirmed that the Israeli art students were, in fact, part of a major Israeli intelligence operation and that they were conducting surveillance of the activities of the 9-11 hijackers. They also worked with the Israeli Urban Moving System employees in New Jersey who were seen in at least two Jersey City locations -- Liberty State Park and The Doric apartment building -- celebrating the impact of the first plane into the World Trade

    Strange turn of events on this thread.

    Well, I sure didn’t find anything anti Israel on the website.
    But I didn’t get past page 2 because of all the anti green I had to endure. It’s difficult on my sensitive eyes to look at yellow and red web pages.

    When I visit the site I do not see this yellow and green stuff. It could be my computer treats colors differently than yours do.
    If anyone else is here, do you have the same problem?

    There is no reading in the above. All the dialogue is in a column that is red.

    I tried to past a portion of the site to show the colors in an effort to identify a reading problem. My effort failed.

    When you visit the sit are you having a problem reading/understanding it?

    Sorry, I can read it fine. It’s a series of verses from the Bible afaik. I wonder what specifically you found interesting? We could discuss that specific part, I suppose, but I found nothing that jumped out at me as particularly new.

    What I found interesting?

    I spent 98% of my life with a bible that I only read and or tried to understand was the New Testament. I had always assumed the Old Testament was old and out of date and only the new mattered.

    What I found interesting about the Old was the diverse topics covered and most specifically those verses where God/Lord spoke directly in a verse. In those instances, God was talking to a specific people for a specific purpose.

    (Deu 7:6 KJV) For thou art a holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

    (Deu 7:7 KJV) The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

    (Deu 7:12 KJV) Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he swore unto thy fathers:

    (Deu 7:13 KJV) And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kin, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

    I found it interesting because God chose the Israelite people over all others to abide by and carry His word in order to spread His grace and understanding to others.

    It is up to the reader to determine whether the “chosen” obeyed and followed His commandments.

    LOL, between you and me, and the public Internet...

    What is my point?

    I doubt the authenticity of the document you choose to post.

    First, I was guessing at what the context was you were referring to.

    But, this was my line of thinking:

    The count is incorrect, and even if it's correct, some of those verses are irrelevant.

    If the count is off, and the the verses are irrelevant, all of page 4 is basically unneeded. It seems like it's just a vehicle for pointing out hostile behavior by Israeli people against Palestinian people. It's a civil war, am I wrong? Hostility is happening in both directions?

    At the very least, we agree that the document is biased?

    The other thing that I find odd is the mention of "Google Irgun, Haganah and Stern gangs and you will get 144,000 hits" on page 5. What is the document saying? 144,000? So what? this is now prophecy?

    That's why I doubt the authenticity of the document you choose to post. That was my point.
