My city's previous high was 1936. Must have been during the dust bowl, and great depression. It's a dry heat, like I imagine Phoenix, or Riyadh to be.

It hit 102 and now seems to be on the way down. Heat index was 119.

It is 70% humidity in the house so 88 feels like 100.

I hope it cools down where you are. It is supposed to cool down to 85F here tomorrow and not rise much above that for the next 10 days. I used to think 85 was hot.

Further north of us and Lytton hit 115. That is insanely hot for them.

Heaven and Hell...
Heaven is 77 which what the high temp is supposed to be here today.... Hell is what it was a couple of days ago, 107!
