OMG. I just realised that the shaligram and lingam are often worshipped together. Oh no, It's unnatural. Clearly Harihara is also unnatural and must be struck from every temple in which He is venerated. And what to say of Ardhanariswara? Shall we toss out the Lord is is half woman? I'm afraid we will need to tell Visnu that He is no longer allowed to take the form of Mohini either!

(Ignorance like this makes my blood boil. If the only way to handle it is with humour than I'll get right on it.)

I think about all aspects of life with as much science as is available to attain total comprehension of humanity. You think that there is something wrong with that fundamentally. We Hindus think that is yoga, and specifically gyana yoga. I must know why a person talks to me like you are doing.

I am most definitely not God but I have mastered the yoga that gives me access to truth from God whenverer I need it for my survival with dignity.

You are a free human being and need not be concerned at all with my views. But I must state my case whether you like it or not, in open fora so that the world knows who I am in terms of the bases of my knowledge.

So God is a combination of a male and a female?

Please clarify to me what kind of transexual you are by stating if you had/have normal physical appearance in terms of secondary sexual characteristics (sexual organs and breasts etc) so that I know if your condition is genetic or if it is conditioned.

What does any God do for anyone? What should God do? What does God do for you? Does your God have gender?

God should not do anything to us. He should mind his own business and stop interfering with people's lives. My God is Sri Krishna, a male; but he has a counterpart Durga, a female.

If God should stop interfering in our lives and "mind His own business", then why does it ultimately matter if someone is gay or not?

After all, it isn't His/Her business and they shouldn't so anything to us. Your words, not mine.

I have checked with God about this and He says that as Lord of the Univerese it is His duty to ensure the well being of the universe and preserve it through interventions. Whether we like it or not God will intervene in human affairs to set things right. Honestly, Starry, unless you study the Bhagavad Gita you can never expect to become a theistic Hindu. I was reminded this morning of the following shloka:
Ab jananti ma mudha, manushi tanumashritam
Param bhavam jananto mama bhuta maheshwaram

Translated it means: Fools deride me who have assumed the human form without knowing my real Nature as Lord of the Universe.

To me it does not matter whether someone is gay or not because I will die soon enough. But God will never die. Humans will come and go and He will do what is necessary to sort things out His way. Whilst I live I consider it my duty to myself to bring to the attention of the world the knowledge that I have acquired. I consider that to be God's mission for me - from personal evidence that He wants me to do this. That is what I have done by setting up my Blog.

Okay; I think we should stop feeding Shantanu's delusions. If he really believes that God is talking to him, fine, but we should not be encouraging him.

You are truly conditioned to your way of thinking and reject new knowledge that has been carefully vetted to ensure accuracy. In Hinduism we focus on liberation from non-attachment, yet you are attached to your gayness.

    How convienent.

Look, it's clear that you think I'm lost, an "enemy of God", or that I'm somehow not a theistic Hindu, but I'm done with this particular conversation.

Namaste and have s good life.

Yet you seem to be the one hyper-focused on what other people do in their private lives.

Okay, now I'm done with this particular conversation.
