High blood pressure and high blood cholesterol are related. True or false?

Longevity is a function of one's lifestyle, which depends partly on diet.

A person is unlikely to live to 100 if they eat high cholesterol food too often.

True or false?

There are several causes of high blood pressure, cholesterol is just one of them

Yeah, I’m not really expecting to make 100.

Diet is important though. Eating healthily might not make you live any longer, but it’ll make you feel better. Mind you, eating cream filled choux buns makes me feel good too, so it’s a bit of a struggle sometimes.

granddad walked all the way to 100
no wheelchair
no long term hospital needs

grandma passed two years quicker

they ate what they wanted
but the vegetation was grown at home.....behind the garage
packed in cold storage
or canned in glass jars

I would like to die like Grandpa.
Peacefully in his sleep.

Not shouting, and bleeding like all the passengers in his car.

True or false?
No. It is a function of one's biology and lifestyle. Some people are always going to die younger than others with no means of changing that fact. Another major variable is what food is available. There could be something missing from our available diets.

True (more than false)

A person is unlikely to live to 100 no matter what they eat.

Lower cholesterol eating generally correlates to longevity.

True, only because nobody is likely to live to 100 in any case.

But if what you mean is what diet would help your chances of living to an advanced age, then it is not cholesterol in your food that matters. It is the presence of substances in your diet that become converted to high density lipoproteins (HDLs) rather than low density lipoproteins (LDLs). HDLs and LDLs are colloquially referred to as "cholesterol", so what counts is the dominant type of this "cholesterol" circulating in your body.
