Hey, Baha'i: here's a Trinitarian's question for you.

Given the Baha'i penchant for finding value in symbols and concepts as allegories and metaphors, I'm curious: Is the Christian concept of the Trinity just one more concept that you think is an allegory or metaphor? If so, what meaning and value do you "see" in it?

As you would know Terry, the Trinity is not mentioned as a teaching in the Bible. As such, the doctrine of the Trinity, in itself, is an attempted allegory or Metephor of what men saw Biblical passages were offering.

The same teachings can be offered in another way, still using the 3 aspects of God the Holy Spirit and the Messenger, that then shows that Chrsit is all the Names of God, that Christ transcends the flesh body of Jesus.
