    Nope.
    I have a phase, where I tried to only use objective rationality and evidence, but I got over that.

    Well, I believe each and every single thing spends its time existing so it can become more divine. The whole, The Omniverse, possesses the most divinity, but one day reality itself will become Omniversal, so all will exalted. I spend each and every single day reaching closer to the Omega/Omniversal Point of our existence.

    The Bible teaches that we are gods and the children of God. (Psalms 82:6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.)

    John 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

    So while we are very much underdeveloped. That is our heritage and destiny.

    I am really surprised a Christian would actually admit this. Or that the Bible has a quote like this. You seem to be a Christian Exaltist. :thumbsup:

    Self deification was an important part of Christian monastic tradition; it was supported by the Catholic Church sometimes, and sometimes they called it heresy. See the story of monk Meister Eckhart for example.

    :eek: Isn't self-deification a left-handed/Satanic practice? :eek:

    Edit: I'm going to have to be more specific on what kind of Exaltism I practice...

    What good is it to be called a god if you can't do anything at all with it?

    So nope. A god in name only, isn't a god at all.

    Nonsense. Try reading the verse in context.

    A psalm of Asaph.

    God stands in the divine assembly;
    among the divine beings He pronounces judgment.

    How long will you judge perversely,
    showing favor to the wicked? Selah.

    Judge the wretched and the orphan,
    vindicate the lowly and the poor,

    rescue the wretched and the needy;
    save them from the hand of the wicked.

    They neither know nor understand,
    they go about in darkness;
    all the foundations of the earth totter.

    I had taken you for divine beings,
    sons of the Most High, all of you;

    but you shall die as men do,
    fall like any prince.

    In verse six, He is addressing, not humans, but the members of the divine assembly, and warning them that they will "die as men so, fall like any price."

    @Seeker of White Light

    I would like to also point out that I discussed the exaltation of all in my pantheist thread Omnitheism. It is my latest take and development of Exaltism and there's also a link of it in my signature - on the words Approaching Omnitheism. A summary of it is that everything was once part of one Omniverse, but due to Entropy and Extropy such being is starting to possess Omniversal-type qualities, as such as future technology, such as soul creation, Synverse technology, multithreaded verses and hybrid thinking and consciousness will allow everything to possess the same qualities as The Omniverse already possesses currently.

    In short, reality is going from The Omniverse to Omnitheism - which is now my title.

    If this interpretation is accurate why did Christ cite it when accused of making Himself like God?

    Yes, but I can't talk about it as it would violate the rules.

    I know someone who had a breakdown when she was in her teens. Thought she was Jesus.

    From an advaita perspective, we are all "drops" in the Divine "Ocean" - essentially Divine but don't experience it. That is one part of my answer.

    Another part is that people can have experiences that they mistakenly assume is the realization of their essential divinity. Others can claim such divinity as part of desiring name/fame/money/sex.

    So my answer is that while I intellectually accept my essential divinity, I have no experience of it and make no claims about any realization.

    I have no clue why some unknown apologist might claim that someone he presumes to be "Christ" said something decades earlier,
