As a Christian I do believe in Christ and his teachings. However I do not feel that gives me the ability to speak for him, as I am not aware that was addressed.

My opinion from my understanding is that it is OK. But if you are asking about between two men, I would need to defer and say I really don't know if there is a absolute answer for all, I feel it is up to each individual to work it out on their own.

    Not yours.
Well, if you roll back to the 70s-90s there is very little in the way of man-oriented magazines. So, despite the fact that there is a centerfold in there there were also lots of well written content between the pages. My father was rather religious about his Playboys and Penthouse magazines and often would be reading them from the throne room. I'd read them too. (Mind you this is when I am _far_ younger than the audience intended, and I have no sexual interest other than to point and laugh at lady bits.) So the bathroom reading rack was these, Discovery Magazine, and an occasional Scientific American or Popular Mechanics. Penthouse was a little raunchier and thus I learned about all sorts of interesting sexual things. :D

Anyway, I guess I am weird in that my family never viewed the sexuality as something to hide. My father once in a great while would watch a porn video, but I never really had any interest or tried to sneak a peek. To me, the experience is somewhat like watching a food commercial... It's not nearly as interesting as being there and who wants to be made hungry. I still have zero interest in porn, probably because in my household it was no big deal. It was never taboo... etc... All the fun is in persuading your partner to do that anyway. :D Some people like watching the game, and some people like playing it. I'm not a watcher. :D

I am sorry if I misunderstood, that is common for me hence my name, however, it usually goes the other way. People misunderstand what I am trying to say or at least what I am intending my tone to be.

But again I feel the Bible portrays sex in a very positive manor more so than negative. It just seems like the church pulls out the negative more than needed to control it members sometimes.

I feel the bible talks about sex and things that are taboo in a positive light more than people think. I do not like to quote the bible as most non Christians do not like it. But I feel the Song of Solemn talks about sex and sex acts that some would think quite scandalous, I feel it is very beautiful, and shows God has given it to us to enjoy, not abuse.

    Religious Forums

I have spent more time on RF today than ever before, I also feel I have revealed more than I intended today, so I am going to end here on this thread, unless you ask a specific question.

Thank you for your time and insight.

Does that include oral and anal sex?

I said I was ending my responses in this thread but after saying that I see you had responded earlier.

I will answer if you give me more on what you say to be "double standards"

With all due respect, but a more coherent, Christian-like answer would have been : "God has biologically predisposed genital organs for procreation. ".

I didn't expect an answer like "that kind of intercourse is ok only when it's done by a man and a woman".

I do feel that it is fine. In the post above this I left a link to the Song of Solomon, I think it mentions these things there.

I'm sorry I was misunderstood, I feel I did not say that or at least I did not intent to. I meant I am not sure except in the case of a man and women.

God handed down the 10 Commandments as the law of God or like our US Constitution and Bill of Rights. All laws are based on this. If they are not constitutional they are not supposed to be allowed.

OK, one of the Laws is Thou Shalt not commit Adultery.

Now say a woman is walking down the street with her daughter. Some guys jump out and tell her they are going to have sex with her the woman. She refuses and fights against them. They grab her daughter and say they are going to rape and kill her daughter if she does not comply. She gives in and lets the men have sex with her.

She willingly had sex with men outside of marriage. Did she commit adultery?

I say no and feel God would forgive her for any sin in this case on her part, but I feel there would not even be a sin to forgive in this case. She sacrificed herself to protect someone else, and if she felt it was wrong she may have felt she was sacrificing her soul. I do not feel anyone could hold her accountable. And this is one of the Big Ten Sins.

Now on the other about two guys together. What I think will not matter one bit, I'm sure God will not consult me when the time comes, and I really do not know.

I look at it this way, if a person is born both male and female, can they never have sex. What if they choose to be one or the other sex is that OK? I think it would. What about being born as a male or female, but genetically being the opposite? I don't know there either, but feel it may be OK.

So I can not speak for God, however, and feel you would need to work it out on your own.

I hope that clears up how I feel, not saying that is the way it is.

My belief is similar to that. As a believer in reincarnation and karma, if you use another person for your own self-satisfaction, you are building the kind of karma where you will reap what you sow in a future lifetime.

It's quite different when sex is part of a loving relationship with two people connected on very deep levels and expressing their love for each other in many ways.

Promiscuity and adultery can cut people off from forming a deeply loving bond because they see each other as means to self-satisfaction. So it's not a matter of "thou shalt not" but a matter of knowing the long-term consequences of one's acts and choosing the path of a loving relationship.

They say you should only look at one naked girl in your life.
But what happens when you know you'll never find a wife
Are you willing to pay that kind of price?

I'm trying to live a life reborn
But I find that my heart has been torn
I guess I'll watch some animated porn.

No. Religion has not affected my views on sex, but culture has.

So you have a definite answer when its between a man and a woman, but unsure when it comes to the same sex? Just come out and say booty play is okay when it comes to heterosexuals

    Absolutely.

The whole of my life understanding changed.

In relationship to sex, I understood that it was one's gift to your spouse and for them only. Further study, I found it to be the covenant reminder of the vows one has made and, in so many ways, it strengthens the marriage vows. Intimacy is depended in the God created act.

Once I chanced to intrude inadvertently on my parents when they were hotly into it and got a hard slap for no reason at all. But I do not hold it against my father. Things happen. :D
You would suffer in hell for all eternity.
