She needs to get on with it. Do we have anyone in the running? I heard Al Franken's name, but don't know if there is any truth to it.

She could pick Bill Clinton. I hear that he is available.

Having the Democratic Convention after the GOP is such a huge advantage, especially this year. I bet she has a decision, now that she knows who she is up against. But she is disciplined enough to keep it under wraps and prevent the GOP from stealing the thunder.

I'd bet good money she has it narrowed down to one, but is smart enough not to announce amid the NRC antics. Who knows when Trump and Company will let loose its next comedian/patsy on the convention. I know I'm waiting for it. [IMG]

I have no idea at this point but I'm quite certain it won't be a woman.

As much as I like Elizabeth Warren, she is very valuable where she is right now.

Who ever she picks, it better be someone that can have a security clearance. :D

Seems that I heard that if she became president she would be the first President that couldn't pass a background check:D

She's been coy about it, but I'm expecting somewhat male, white, and dull.
Possibly true no matter who gets the job, given Trump's previous ties to La Cosa Nostra. Depending on the job, just getting investigated for something can count as a tick against you on a background check.

The RNC convention was the disaster I expected. How embarrassing.

I hadn't thought about him, but he would be an ideal choice. Use him as the enforcer to swing back at Trumps idiocy... Could be golden.

This is true of almost all of the obvious "high profile" options. Especially senators, when the plan is to get a majority.

One person I have heard mentioned is Julian Castro. As a young, male, POC he would fit the profile best suited to this election, especially being Hispanic. He has some DC experience, although that isn't his strong suit. That matters less when you are working for two of the most experienced operators in Washington.

He represents the future in some important ways.

The Democratic Party and Billary are in a position to be very choosy about the VP slot. And Sanders will have a lot to say about it. I expect someone excellent.

I initially thought this, but then thought the opposite. I have a few reasons for thinking it benefits the one that went first, but perhaps not the thread for it, and I'm comfortable waiting a week after DNC to see how it plays out.

I'm thinking HC is going to be raising a little Kaine.

I think it is official now. Hillary has picked Tim Kaine.

I like the idea of Julian, but I guess Hillary had other plans.

I hate seeing this thread's title.
Hillary "entertaining" suitors conjures up disturbing images.
