As scholars have long noted, I was really born at a completely different time of year and just stole this birthday from the pagans :D

Many scholars even doubt my name is really Augustus, which means majestic, and instead argue that this was actually some kind of a title.

Some even doubt I exist at all, and am really just some kind of cosmic archetype that was later historicised out of myth. however, this view remains a fringe theory and is yet to find acceptance among most credible scholars.
