I hope everyone has a wonderful day today whether you celebrate Beltane or May Day. This was Last years Beltane moon through the trees and fire. This year is really wet and rainy despite being in the heart if Texas so we may need to light the Beltane candle instead. Blessings to everyone in the forum.

It's a groovy piece, I can see the connection. Yesterday was Walpurgisnacht, a time for pranks. I use to do them but no longer because they can be quite cruel. Do you see a one-day link between Beltane and Walpurgisnacht, sort of like Samhain and All Saints Day?

its a very old song, released the year i was born (1970) and one of the those i was nurtured on.

I don't see any link other than the beginning of summer. Beltane is Gaelic and walpurgis is German, But i haven't investigated it.

Beltain is usually the time for one of the biggest Living History meetings in Germany and a feast for all the neo pagans. It is held in the night preceding the 1st of May. On the 1st of May everybody is trying to sober up and little is done.
