Greeting to RF Members - AMR

AMR

Presbyterian (PCA)
Just wanted to pop in and say hello to all active RF members. The "AMR" is short for Ask Mr. Religion, a username I have been using for over twenty years. I hope I have crossed paths with some of the RF members in other forums I frequent.

So, what brings you to RF? Just the pop in?
.
I was searching for something I no longer can recall, and the site appeared in the results. I noted three DIRs of interest (Reformed, Calvinist, Presbyterian), and was disappointed to see how stale most of the posts were therein and thought I could at least provide some current posts should the need arise.

Now if someone can explain to me how I can actually have post privileges in those three DIRs that would be swell.

I am not the best for that information, however, you go to the forum of your interest. If you are a member, which you seem to be since you are logged in, you can post. There is a button toward the bottom saying something like new post or new thread. You'll find that there are a great number of forums, and sub-forums. (I think)

Welcome to RF.

You have to update your preferences https://www.religiousforums.com/account/ and you'll see a list of DIRs. Just select the ones you belong to and the gates should open up for you!

Welcome Mr Religion.
I find the Calvinist religions and political philosophies quite interesting. I'd like to see more discussion of them, but, if you post in the DIRs themselves you'll find yourself preaching to the choir, as anyone with alternate viewpoints -- myself included -- is not permitted to post.

Welcome. Mr. Religion seems an interesting self-identification. Care to explain further? Does that mean you see yourself as a specialist in religion, or a major devotee to religion, or both, or something other?
