Of course, I put many things before God and the "love" never changed.

All I can say is perhaps God has a greater understanding of love than you do?

Have you ever read the Bible? The god character featured there doesn't know the meaning of the word, love. In fact if it actually exists instead of being the fictional character I believe it to be, humans should be looking at ways of exterminating it.

Listen to yourself, God's Commandment - follow them as best you can - what part of thou shalt not, sounds like, do the best you can?

That's just what I'm talking about, your problem is with the bible and the god it painted for you, my God pre-exists religion and or religious thinking, I got no problem with it, it is where life comes from.

Heck doesn't even have to be striking the person, just a strike right next to them to show a person, "hey I saw that".

Exactly! Life is like the burger king, you can have it your way.

What is the burger king? I dislike kings because they ordered knights to slay me.

I hear you and I think I understand where you are coming from.

Maybe that is the motive behind the last two mass murders in the US, if god is not going to do it I will, or better yet God old me to do it.

First show where that is Written at first.
Jesus said to love one another, but never said with out condition.
    There's always a condition to everyone's love.

You intentionally broke the commandment. How does any person follow a law the best they can by breaking it on purpose?

Im not questioning your spiritual growth. Everyone is different. If I believed in god, I would not break the law to understand his unconditional love. To me, thats in anway cheating and assuming that god would continously love me regardless how many times I cheat.

    That is me.

Maybe with you its a one time thing. I understand if someone murdered and god will forgive. I dont understand murderering to test god. That, I find more of a issue is testing god for a revelation.

Everyone learns differently. I see that as a contradiction. I thought god gives love to those who try (edit: not to) intentionally and unintentionally break his commandments. Try not to murder to get gods love. Not murder in order to receive it.

    Understand where I come from?

Jesus was far from perfect if the gospel accounts are correct, just another human with faults and failings like the rest of us.

    Through the sacraments of christ.

Some people go to confession and receive god's forgiveness for sins they intentionally commit. They feel "god will forgive them anyway" so its an excuse to sin. I never understand that until I went to confession many times. It can be addictive more than support.
