Be there a perfect being, God. Gods greatest desire is the soul's worth for fellowship. God desires hearts of care and compassion as deserves. God desires mercy. Mercy requires repentance.

There are two types of beings, the heart of a giver, and the heart of a taker.

There is the vanity and false pride of life, that desires power and control and vain glory above all things.

Then there is the heart of a giver, who seeks to give as belongs, and desires to lift up the compassionate, and merciful, and repentant.

God desires repentance, but if a being never repents then God must judge to punish. Much of humanity brings upon itself judgment. Why does this happen? Because they are vain, boastful, arrogant, greedy, lustful, spiteful, selfish, cruel, unforgiving, only out for the self and selfs own, murderous, possessive, and only seek to have more then their share. They lack basic care and compassion as deserves.

There are three types of pure love above: mercy, as deserves, and charity.

God bestows all three as is fitting for the sake of the soul's worth in fellowship. God wants to relate, but human hearts must become just for God to do that.

A will against God and God's just heart of living simply isnt worth God's fellowship. God extends mercy to the very last, but there is a line on evil where a being will never ever have a heart for what truly matters ever.

So its not God that has made enemies. Humans make themselves enemies to God, and thus draw judgment from God.

The #1 heart of God is charity. God wants to lift up and to give. God wants to make well of souls, and to make them beautiful and perfect in justice and in truth.

Without virtues it is impossible to please God, and no relationship can exist with God.

You are either on one side or the other with God because thats the only way that it is. God cannot, and will not appreciate that which is against God and his justice. That would be insanely foolish to do so.

A professor of mine once said, "There are two kinds of people in the world. Those that divide the world into two camps, and those that don't."

Hehe, which is exactly what he himself did. A clever way of making an important point.

Funny and also theologically true when it comes to concepts of the Divine.

I can actually agree with this based on what i just said.

God does not desire to condemn. God desires to redeem. Unfortunately some people would rather put guns to people's heads for no good reason.

I wouldn't presume to know what the Abrahamic god does or doesn't want, but the dualistic modality of interpretation here doesn't particularly strike my fancy. I suppose that's one of the things that turned me off to the Abrahamic religions - they are often grounded in dualism and either-or thinking. My brain is much too squirrelly to see only two options in any given scenario.

Why in God's name would God even have a reason to "desire" anything? It seems people are fond of attributing human traits on something that by definition has to to be unfathomable.

I would seek very hard, i grew up christian, and God was always the topic of conversation, and this is the determination ive come too. I asked myself the question, What is a perfect being? I have always been compelled to know that more than anything.

They say seek and you shall find in my familys religion. God is not far from anyone of us they tell me. I find that to be true.

Im still always seeking God, and i wont settle for anything less.

    Thanks for the compliment.

God being alive, and not dead, must have desires, why limit God? I would say the mind of God is unfathomable, but the heart of God must be very simple and relatable. God is alive.

So what happens? Does God lose his superpowers or something when people don't worship God?

A good with desires or needs strikes me as odd for a God touted by people as not having any needs or wants. Worship makes no sense.

I would say on only one issue God is either/ or, evil. Otherwise God is full of options.

I feel lost now. Didn't you say in the opening post a human is "either on one side or the other" with this god? How is that being full of options?

I would say that worship is to adore, and hold one in high esteem, nothing wrong with that.

God clearly deserves adoration, and high esteem by God's nature.

I would not worship anyone less than perfect.

Now i dont accept most definitions of worship where people are ritualistic, and obsessive.

God is more about personal relationship..

I , quite frankly, have come to my realizations about God, in the last two days.

Only evil is God that way about it.

With God, or being in agreement with God's justice, a person is truly free.

Im still struggling with my family's chosen religion of christianity.

I chose to ask instead, who is God? and what makes God perfect?

There are interesting insights in the Bible. I take the Bible as a story by humans meant to teach lessons about life and God.

But i want to know the real, true God even if that God isnt Abrahamic.

By saying God is alive does that mean that God can die?

    No.

God is existence itself. God being perfect isnt subject to death because God is Supreme innocence.

Having said that i believe God suffers, and does need to defend Godself against evil.

Death is a condition of mankind because of their rebellious spirit.

We are temporal hearted, always changing, God is eternal hearted and Gods nature doesnt change.

But he does desire that people be evil.

    Isaiah 45:7
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
    So go figure.

I believe that God is always in bliss, and God doesn't need us. But it is part of His nature to create us, and wish the best for us. Worship is for us, not for God.
