Is it possible to believe in a higher power, yet be atheist, agnostic or theist without claiming it to be (or without claiming to believe) god?

So do you believe in a higher power without claiming it is god?

Does this apply to agnostics?

You can believe in a higher power without believing in God/Gods. The forces of nature, space aliens, genetically engineered super intelligent man eating dinosaurs; all are higher powers without being god. I'm an agnostic because I think it may be possible to define god in a way that such a thing might exist.

Higher powers are gods, by definition. They're synonyms. One of the few generally agreed-upon attributes of the god-concepts of the world's religions it that the gods are greater than humans. Folks can choose to not use the word "deity/gods" to describe those higher powers, but that distinction is sometimes only one of semantics.
