what with the war in Lebanon the situation in Gaza has been somewhat overshadowed, I think its time for un forces sauch as that in Lebanon were deployed in Gaza ...
Would that be UN forces like those who sat back quietly as Hizbullah built infrastructure and amassed anti-personnel weapons within meters of UNIFIL position?

Well, doing nothing is better than doing needless evil. So they're still one step up.

no it isn't. The UN has shown a complete ineptitude at doing or stopping anything, especially when it comes to the Israeli-Arab conflict.

this will only prolong the conflict, solving nothing.

I thought the UN managed to chase the Israel soldiers out of Southern Lebanon except at a little village town. You call that UN forces have done nothing?:monkey:

You mean you want to see UN using gun to shoot at those Israeli soldiers remaining in Ghajar, doing some action like the Western Cowboy show?:p

The UN has said Israel has withdrawn the bulk of its troops from Lebanon, fulfilling a key condition of the UN ceasefire ending war with Hezbollah.
But it said some Israeli troops remained in the small border village of Ghajar, where Israeli troops were deployed before the month-long war.

the interferance of third parties constantly undermine peace in the Israeli/palestinian conflict,i am of the opinion that its not really a Israeli /palestinian conflict at all but a theatre for countries like Iran to play out there proxy wars , i beleive left alone there would be peace in the area reletively quickly
Israel's ambassador to the UN has accused Iran of paying Hamas $50m to block the release of an Israeli soldier captured by Palestinian militants

America payed Israel $5000000m to continue the persecution of Palestinian trying to make a peaceful living in the Gaza:D

Without those $$$, Israel will not be able to claim 7 killed in Gaza today, and 5 kill tomorrow etc etc.

Emergency services working after the 'raid'

Seven Palestinians including a senior militant figure have been killed in clashes with Israeli troops in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian officials said. The officials said the men were shot at a mourning ceremony during an Israeli undercover raid. But Israel said its troops were engaged in a gunfight with armed men threatening Israel with rocket fire.

yes not a good way to treat an Israeli withdrawal, thanks to Hamas the Palestinians in Gaza are worse off than before the withdrawal

Show me some statistics or fact to illustrate that "Palestinians in Gaza are worse off than before the withdrawal"

If Gaza currently is worse off, the real reason is because some one got elected in the Western way of democratic process, and the West is punishing the Palestinians for electing that some one.......nothing to do with the withdrawal
