Funny business

Life is a comedy with a strange cast
We try our best to make the good times last
The days and nights seem to fly by so fast
I wonder which off us will laugh last

I'd love to squash the vicious rumour
That I possess no sense-of-humour
I often laugh at no reason at all
Maybe that's because my ego is so small

It's hard to be brilliant and funny all-the-time
Even more so when the words must somehow rhyme
So today I would like to wish you lots of laughs
Pardon me while I go play with my giraffes

I love it! But, it isn't hard, it's impossible to be brilliant and funny all the time. Haha And, it seems some can never do it ever.

If you have a problem with my typos you should try reading my handwriting - it is often so indecipherable even I can't work it out!

I shall re-post the poem because that typo was not the only thing I had second thoughts about ...

Here is the latest version of this poem - the alterations may seem a little pedantic but I am assured by experts that these are changes that should improve the poems performance on and off-road.
