I guess people saw cannabis and immediately started judging. People don't really know the background story behind Brittni De La Mora. Glad she found a way out
Indeed....we too have seen many people change their lives for the better. We have former gangsters, drug dealers, thugs...those living immoral lifestyles, even people who were commanded to commit military atrocities, struggling with their conscience.....all of whom are now happily serving God knowing that their former sins are behind them and that they are completely forgiven.
Cannabis is an issue that is still causing trouble because of past demonization and misuse of this harmless plant.
The one thing I can agree with is that the truth must be told because cannabis is a wonder medicine that can be used to alleviate pain and suffering in many conditions....especially cancer treatments. People need to stop seeing cannabis and thinking immediately of drug abuse. It is not addictive and has no harmful side effects like the opioids that are freely available and government approved. Thousands are dying every year from those "legal" drugs. No one has ever died from an overdose of cannabis.
Those who suffer with PTSD and a host of other anxiety disorders are benefiting from the use of cannabis as medicine. Some able to sleep at night without the nightmares.
Those heavily invested in the pharmaceutical industry will try to keep the demonization going because they know that cannabis is a threat to their whole industry. Only now are they scrambling to make this drug (or a synthesized version of it) available to the market....and like all their medications it will be horribly expensive and because it isn't "whole plant" medicine, it will be nigh on to useless.
