Just FYI (coming from a family of Freemasons -- x3 generations) Freemasonry is quite different depending on what part of the world you are in. My Grandfather was one the the "high level" Masons and retired to a Masonic home in PA and told me that the Freemasonry he experienced on visits to Europe was NOTHING like his experience in the states.

Guess it depends on how "well" the local group is run.

Perhaps thats more of a reason to pick your school of masonary carefully
