Throughout the duration of your life, have you ever fallen in love with another person, but felt it would be shameful to act on that love or speak of it?

    If so, why?

I don't know why. But, yes. That's happened numerous times for me. I always seem to love women that part of me thinks I shouldn't.

Love needs two both in love. If not, then that love is filthy.

One should have love for self. If one doesn't, then they should consider seeking mental health help.

    Yes.

When reading the conference of the birds, there were scenarios in the story of different types of forbidden love. One being same sex. The story showed how love can break down conventions established by tradition. How powerful love is.

No. There is no shame in loving. It might not be reciprocated, in which case there would be great shame in pressing for consummation of your love, but I've not done that.

    So, no.

I worship and believe in the One I see as the Source of Everything as a result of experience and faith. Label me as you see fit.
When I was little, I wanted to marry my family, my friends, my pets and basically everyone I loved.

I didn't quite understand the concept of marriage.

    Love isn't about attraction.

As behaviour in life is about pairing a perfect genetic lineage which we lost. So we are forever motivated to seek it.

When you do really love each other that circumstance is removed.

As our human parents loved naturally first without sex. Ignored human advice as scientists studying life are ignorant first.

Conscious humans don't study life for machine equations claiming a machine God.... hence needs to be conscious like humans.

The motivation to pose questions in answers.

I've probably only felt love towards another once - which was just so different from anything else I had known previously as to being recognised as such - but the practicalities were against any relationship - age difference, but both being over the legal age for such relationships. So I didn't pursue this further than I might have done. I've often felt attracted to so many in the past but where introversion ruled so as to make any relationships almost impossible. A few females managed to take the initiative but even then, any such relationship usually failed. So, no shame felt, just disappointment usually.
