For Republicans who swore up and down to me over and over the past couple of years that Trump could not lose for 2020, he would win no matter what how do you explain his loss?

Do you still hold on to the idea he could win even though Biden is being prepped and signed off GSA lady as winner: Or do you believe the vote was a fraud or is there some other reason.

Its just odd because when I saw Trump ahead in the votes at first, because for awhile he was, they said Biden would have to win Wisconsin and Michigan and he did, then it started changing. What reason do you think Trump did not win or do you hold onto him taking the courts and winning?

Not enough Trump voters voted twice as he called for.

There is said irregularities in the voting process. Whether Trump wins in the courts or not, I believe it is necessary at this point to investigate all the allegations and demand transparency. I would hope the Democrats would want the same.

Where Biden turned over the vote, Republicans were doing the administration.
Why do you suppose that they would cheat in favour of the democrats.

The legal battles were all make believe. No irregularities have been shown to have been taken place.

I believe COVID derailed the election. Had COVID not happened, odds are that Trump would have won handily.

I know this sounds hateful but I can't help but believe it. It seems like Republicans made the decision before the election that Trump would be reelected and any fair election would show thos results and any outcome outside of that would not be accepted.I think Trump had decided that too. If Trump had won would we be here with all these court cases?

I don’t know about all republicans. Just the Alt right variety. There have been endless streams on social media (particularly Tik Tok for some reason) where die hard “Trumpers” have been crying in denial about the result.
To challenge the decision is one thing. But holy hell the tantrums are non stop and it’s embarrassing to watch. Cringe, as the kids call it.

I was listening to Rush Limbaugh and they were claiming they were still optimistic about their court cases and said there were a bunch of votes that got in that were illegal and planted and all sorts of stuff. But had Trump won they wouldn't be sitting here saying all this. They had their minds made up that either Trump would win or they were gonna raise hell period.

It couldn't possibly have been because the American people didn't want another four years of corrupt, incompetent buffoonery.

A lot of people turned on Trump with his covid spot. And, as B. Clinton said "it's all about the economy." Trump inherited an economy jumping back up after a recession, and it basically continued forward and was doing well. If Covid didn't happen I really do not think he would have lost. But the economy tanked and that is a death knell for a president seeking reelection.

Not because of Covid, but because he handled the crises so horribly.

Blaming Covid is like a guy who crashed into a wall and then saying “I am a perfect driver, if only that wall hadn’t gotten in my way I would be accident free”.

Other politicians received a huge boost in their popularity, again not because of Covid, but because of how they handled it. Crisis is a test of leadership, The voters said Trump failed that test.

Its still accurate to say Covid derailed Trump's reelection. It was fueled by his negligent handling of covid, but ultimately a bad economy (or harvest in past times) often spells doom for a political career. Covid basically bulldozed Trump. It was too much for him.

In this case I think what I said was -more accurate-. And in a very important way.

I don't know of any to my knowledge that were that assured of Trump winning in terms of a guarantee.

The data was completely wrong givin there was no so called "blue wave" either. Its why data and polls don't impress me. The race was undoubtedly close, and could have gone either way.

As for Trump losing, I'm waiting for the Electoral vote in December first for which Biden is assumed the new president. Then I will know for sure.

As for Trump losing, I think its largely due to Trump's indecision and the consistent shakeups throughout his tenure that, from what I precieve, indicated an unstable and unpredictable governance that clearly affected his subsequent policymaking. I think Trump would have been much better off had he kept a more stable roster and avoided so many shakeups that clearly served no purpose and prevented any real progress going forward by way of future policy and progress.

The position as a whole was too much for him. His devout following wasn't due to his performance but rather his lip service to mawkish sentiments.

Clinton quickly conceded and gave her gracious concession speech while Obama quickly got the briefiing started and transition easily done and tried to hep Trump .This is something Trump will never do, I nver remember anything about th election being stolen. I remember Republicans yelling lock her up.
