Why bother responding if you don't read? Seriously that is my question to you.

In the provided link which was my subject the officer in question proceeded to repeatedly kick the head of an individual causing a concussion even though this individual was a passenger in the car. Other officers were willing to testify against the officer that acted in such a violent manner.

    Do you actually read?

In other words, because the "system" came up with a verdict that agrees with your own, all the other times when it didn't agree with you it had to be wrong. That's pretty darn arrogant if you ask me. Must be nice to always be right. But so be it.

Arrogance? Didn't know I was solicitor general in this case.

I just highlighted a case against all the media driven cases that.....if you read the title of this thread....."for once"....there was a case in which the state acted against a police officer for violating his declared duties. For anyone paying attention to the news and issues of qualified immunity.

Apparently my verdict agrees with that of the numerous officers.....if anyone bothered to read the article......who would testify against that officer.

But you appear to agree with an officer who ran out, repeatedly kicked the head in of a passenger causing a severe concussion.....

God you must love violence and what that entails. How does that feel being told that?

In the meantime.....I'll settle for being arrogant over whatever it is you feel like. It's much safer. Much better. And more intelligent.

And I am rarely right. Because I'm your drunk uncle.

Actually I was not responding to this particular incedent. I was trying to show that much more often it is the police who are injured and the suspect goes free. Maybe in this one case the police were wrong but usually it is the police who get the bad treatment.

    Seriously......

Why? I posted a simple case in which the legal system did not require a mass media involvement against a specific incident of absolute officer abuse. No lawsuits. No mass media involvement. The offending officer was going to be convicted by his fellow officers who witnessed or watched his body cam that provided evidence of his crime.

That sometimes the system works. Unlike Eric Garner or so many other case....I stated the system worked in actually arresting and convicting a police officer of a crime.

If you were not responding to this particular incident I offer up that you should not have responded at all. Your response offered up nothing informative.....at all. Nothing. You could have counterattacked my statement "For once".....or perhaps acted like a jack hole and called me arrogant, I appreciate that you did not. Actually provide evidence that in most cases....against what we see in the media today.....that bad police officers are not protected by qualified immunity, that bad police officers are subjected to the criminal justice system like an ordinary system....etc.

Well, we all have bad days. Maybe you just didn't get enough sleep. Of course the police make mistakes. But everytime there is something that people think the police did wrong, there are riots and demonstrations, etc. But let a hoodlum shhot a cop and there is not a peep. Just sayin', often the police get a bad rap. Now go back to sleep and you will feel better tomorrow.

You have no idea at all what this thread was originally about in regards to due process and the issue of qualified immunity.

    Just sayin'.

I'm amazed that you're getting objections to this.
The cop maliciously attacks & injures a guy.
    No excuse.
    The cop admits this.
    Other cops testify to this.
    The camera supports this.
The cop deserves to be in prison a long time.
And posters are criticizing your praising the justice system actually working well?
This must be Bizarro Day on RF.

Yes, this time the system worked. But why can't I comment on the many other times hoodlums attack police and go unpunished. Just looking at both sides of the story.

I love body cams. And passer bys with camera phones.

Justice is served. Psychopathic cop er... ex cop (I hope) in jail , suspect apprehended. Call it a day.
