Flood Evidences — revised

Can you are least try to find reliable sources? Just the source of that tells us that it is fringy to an extreme.

The author is some sort of preacher.
There is no reliable source for lies.

Just the fact that cuttings from an oil
well are very small fragments liberally
mixec with drilling mud makes it obvious
that his description of trees lying across
eachother is fantasy.

He even has an account of a bullfrog.

Our friend lives in a fantasy world
of fakers and liars.

Yes, it’s through deduction...you know what that is? If you find many tusks.....what do you think grew them?

“The reason that Siberia is such a mecca for mammoth tusk hunting is because of the permafrost. So there were mammoths everywhere...”

Excerpt from:
Woolly Mammoths Are Long Gone, But The Hunt For Their Ivory Tusks Lives On

An honest person would not pretend that a lot of tusks found
over the years does not support your claim of vast herds of
FROZEN grazers.
An honest person interested in what is real and true,
or in discussion, wont ignore facts contrary to their
beliefs, and come back with snarky irrelevancy.

Something I found supporting a quick freeze, indicating a catastrophe, and a sudden, extreme drop in temperature:

"Though the ground is frozen for 1,900 feet down from the surface at Prudhoe Bay, everywhere the oil companies drilled around this area they discovered an ancient tropical forest. It was in frozen state, not in petrified state. It is between 1,100 and 1,700 feet down. There are palm trees, pine trees, and tropical foliage in great profusion. In fact, they found them lapped all over each other, just as though they had fallen in that position"
— Lindsey Williams, The Energy Non-Crisis, 2nd. Edition, 1980, p. 54

I have run across this Lindsey Williams before. He went to Alaska as a missionary and then served as chaplain for the pipeline.. He's a nutjob (and a liar) He doesn't know anything about the oil business, but he dabbles in conspiracy theories..

You like to look things up. See what you can find about the
actual stratigraphy of prudhoe.

Key word? Fluvial.

The initial stratigraphic characterization of the Prudhoe Bay reservoir was lithostratigraphically based, and it depicted this basal reservoir interval as tabular zones between marine shale and overlying coarse-grained, fluvial sandstones.

You do understand that has nothing to do
with the claim hock makes?

Lindsey Williams has been around for years and he's always been full of conspiracy theories and prophecies. He's competing with Hal Lindsey.

I don't know what @ hockeycowboy is saying.

He is all about flash frozen mammoths and cited
this preachers bs as support.

Of course it is abit like finding data to show they did not
drill thro' Atlantis or the Titanic, so I guess hock cannot
be refuted.

Actually, they brought up bits of Jesus and the cross,
a fact that hock cannot refute.

If * these * tusks * and * fleshy * remains * are * being * discovered * within * the * permafrost * (not * on * the * surface), * they * must * have * died * from * the * freezing * temperatures * which * created * the * permafrost!

It’s not that hard.

Lindsey Williams is a crackpot conspiracy promoter and prophecy guy. He's a joke.

If you dont think at all, yes. Allow into consideration
only a few convenient details. You sre confusing 'facile"
for "easy".

Many problems- first, explain why the "fleshy" stuf is always
in varying (sometimes extreme) states of decay.

How did they get scavenged, buried in icy ground?

He writes for several blogs and makes all sort of crackpot claims and now he's shifted into end time prophecy.

Sure, it took very little for me to read the signs of
woo woo crackpot.

What is it with people who cannot?

For sure our opster is a total flop at reading sign!

But my point was that your opinion or mine is so easily
brushed aside.
But then, when dealing with a floodist, there is no
fact, person, evidence, logic or law of nature that is
not as easily brushed aside.

From the time they were frozen until now, there have been hotter summers than usual, allowing predators easier -- not easy, but easier -- access to their remains.

And now, with this Global warming trend, it will be even easier.

On the human side of things.... Ivory is valuable, and these hunters are just stripping the land, with no concern for preservation of these sites. They just want to get to where the money is.

On the realistic side of things, if we may stray there-

Of course such parts as are exposed to the surface
will be thawed, decayed, and sometimes scavenged.

That was not the question.

When excavated from belowground in the
permafrost, the carcasses are found to be
decayed and scavenged.

Dug up. Not on the surface. Still frozen.
But rotten. And scavenged.

They were already decayed when buried.

Do you understand the concept of "falsification"
and how it works?

So what if he is. If he told the truth, then, there is
corroborating evidence; it should be well known,
at least recorded SOMEWHERE besides his book
that this amazing find took place.

Soon as cowboy finds a reference that confirms it,
great. Meantime, it goes in the same book
with Batboy's Secret Moon Base.

Hock? You care to back your claim? No?
