ASI unearths ‘first-ever’ physical evidence of chariots in Copper-Bronze age - Times of India

3 royal tombs with chariots. Wheels decorated with motifs of the rising sun (Aditya) in copper. Swords, shields, daggers and helmets made of copper-bronze. Royal inscription showing a horned headgear and a crown made of peepal leaves. From 2000-1800 BCE, from Uttar Pradesh (Ganga-Yamuna region).

Tombs found near an already excavated post Harappan village still showing traces of late Indus Valley heritage.
