This weekend i gained a new interest for an old hobby that have been put off for some years.
The interest for making photography and mostly landscapes and portraits has come back to me :)

But when i looked at my old camera gear i realized that my camera is so outdated and not much worth going back to. I used Canon 20D for many years before but now the qouality of the images is not much to look for anymore in this camera, and the sensor in the camera has a lot of dust on it too.

So this weekend i really have taken my time to look in to the cameras of today, both DSLR and medium format cameras. And to be honest even the price of medium format cameras are crazy high the quality of the image is so much better. And actually i will have the budget for a Digital medium format camera this summer :)

Then you may ask, But Conscious thoughts, do you need a camera that expensive and do you know how to use it? The answer to the first question about the need....Weeeelllllllll kind of yes because of the kind of photos i will be doing a medium format camera is better in so many ways. but price is of course a problem.
Answer to the second question, Can i use it in a good way? Well yes i have photography education and one of the things we did learn a lot about was how to use Medium format camera, so i am well within the range of being able to make the photos i deam of doing.

The biggest drawback being educated in photography is the "need" for a camera that is "to good" for its use as a hobby photographer  but the dream of owning a medium format camera from Hasselblad is still within me, and since my budget will allow for it....I think  even when friends around me sayc"ARE YOU GONE MAD"

Well yes kind of :p I do not have many needs and wants in my life anymore but i have had a dream of owning a digital Hasselblad camera for as long digital medium format cameras has existed

My mind tell me to do it. but my consciousness of how expensive it will be tell me to think again, check again for other less expensive cameras that give most of the same quality........

To follow the dream or not to follow the dream is the question...

    Don't rush to your decision.

I was going to get back into photography till I found out it would be cheaper to run a stable of race horses.

Hehe i know it will cost me a lot of money, but i am prepard to use money because i looking for quality camera, and Medium format cameras are expensive even for the cheaper once.
But as you say, it is better to spend some time researching and study the different brands of cameras and to know what i would need for my way of making photos

Perhaps you could get into your own photography business if that is something you would be interested in doing.

Definitely would check the reviews and make sure there is a return policy just in case ( such as in the case of a defective product). Also check for durability and possibly get a warranty on the product too.

    Already checked :)
I will buy it in a store and not via online shop. It is Extremely expensive so i read about it, watch youtube review of the camera, and will ask for a weekend of testing before i buy it :)

My recommendation is that it's easier to start with a basic dslr package to get the basics, then work your way to more expensive lenses. (I use a nikon d3400)

Also, krita is an excellent free alternative to photoshop for post editing.

    Have fun!

I am very familiar with the SLR and DSLR from most of my life :) My dad gave me the first SLR camera to me when i was 10 years old. and after that i have had mostly one SLR or DSLR from the different brands that exists :) So this is a reason why i thinking of going to medium format camera instead
And i will be photographing landscape and portraits and this camera from Hasselblad is made for it :)
